Abstract: An apparatus and method for manufacturing a grilled seaweed includes the apparatus comprising a grilling unit having a first housing with a first inlet opening and a first outlet opening which communicate with each other; a first conveyor for transferring a sheet of seaweed from the first inlet opening to the first outlet opening; a first heating source installed over the first conveyor to discharge a flame onto a top surface of the seaweed being transferred by the first conveyor; and a second heating source installed on both sides of a lower portion of the first conveyor to apply a flame onto a bottom surface of the seaweed being transferred by the first conveyor.

Abstract: An image display apparatus which controls an external device transmitting data using a USB connector is provided. The image display apparatus includes a first connector and a second connector which receive an image signal, respectively, a display unit which selectively displays the image signal input via the first connector and the second connector, and if the image signal input via the first connector is displayed on the display unit, a central processing unit (CPU) which stops an external device connected via the second connector from transmitting an image signal. Accordingly, resources in the external device can be efficiently managed by stopping unnecessary operations.

The display device includes an interface which receives image information from at least one host device according to a specified or an unspecified transmission scheme to communicate with the host device, a memory which stores first recognition information corresponding to the specified transmission scheme and if the image information is applied according to the specified transmission scheme, which outputs the first recognition information through the interface to the host device, and a control unit which stores second recognition information corresponding to the unspecified transmission scheme and if the image information is applied according to the unspecified transmission scheme, which reads the second recognition information and outputs the read information through the interface to the host device.

Accordingly, it is possible to maintain luminance of a screen by driving a backlight by use of a direct current (DC) voltage and an AC (alternate current) voltage.

Abstract: A display apparatus having a display panel on which an image is displayed, including: an image sensing unit sensing whether the displayed image is still; a video processing unit capable of changing a video gain of a video signal applied to the display panel; and a controller controlling the video processing unit to change the video gain of the video signal, when it is determined that the displayed image has been still for more or than a predetermined period of time, based on the sensed result from the image sensing unit.
