Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for sharing data of an application. A method of an electronic device includes determining an application list of a partner electronic device; displaying the application list of the partner electronic device; receiving a selection of an application for sharing data from the application list; and transmitting, to the partner electronic device, application selection information and shared data information, based on the selected application.

Abstract: A computer system includes: a plurality of hardware devices, a power mode selector disposed on the computer system, for selecting one of a plurality of predetermined power management modes, and a system power manager for managing the computer system power in response to the selection of the power management mode. In this computer system, a user can set a power management mode by merely moving the power management selector upward and downward. It is, therefore, possible to remedy a drawback in that the user must set the power-down time of each hardware device. Beginners can easily set the power management mode, too, thereby reducing unnecessary power consumption of a computer.

Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing a hard disk master for copying a hard disk are provided. The manufacturing system includes a server computer and a client computer for logging in on the server computer and generating the hard disk master. The server computer includes a program storing portion for storing programs and drivers, a user interfacing portion for selecting the programs and drivers required by the hard disk master and for storing the selected programs and drivers, a setup file generating portion for generating information on the selected programs and an order in which the programs and drivers are installed, and a script file generating portion for generating information on the setting of the hardware environment and operating conditions.
