Abstract: A rechargeable battery assembly is disclosed. The rechargeable battery assembly holds rechargeable battery cells. The battery cells are oriented so as to have all of the positive terminals at the one end of the assembly and the negative terminals at the other end. The positive and negative terminals are respectively connected together by positive and negative tabs, which have connection holes substantially equidistant from each of the positive and negative terminals of the battery cells. In some embodiments, multiple assemblies are connected to form a battery pack.
