Abstract: A color adjustment device applied to a display panel includes a first controller and a second controller. The first controller is configured to control light emission of the display panel. The second controller is connected to the first controller, and is configured to receive an input image, and determine whether a blue component proportion of the input image is greater than a preset proportion and whether luminance of the display panel is lower than a luminance threshold value, wherein at least one pulse signal is transmitted from the second controller to the first controller through a first signal line when the blue component proportion is greater than the preset proportion and the luminance of the display panel is lower than the luminance threshold value.

Abstract: A color-calibration system is provided, which includes a host, a reference display apparatus, and a display apparatus. The host calculates peak-intensity change rates relative to different gain values for blue, green, and red colors using a first spectrum and second spectrum of a first display panel of the reference display apparatus respectively in a first display mode and a second display mode. The host calculates peak-intensity ratios for blue, green, and red colors using the first spectrum and a third spectrum of the first display panel in a predetermined color-temperature display mode. The host calculates blue/green/red gains of a second display panel of the display apparatus using a fourth spectrum of the second display panel in the first display mode, the peak-intensity change rates, and peak-intensity ratios, so that the first display panel and the second display panel display a consistent color in the same predetermined color-temperature display mode.

Abstract: A brightness adjustment method for a display is disclosed. The brightness adjustment method includes determining a first pulse width modulation (PWM) value according to an average picture level (APL) of an image signal; converting the first pulse width modulation value into a second pulse width modulation value according to a converting curve corresponding to a brightness value of the display; and controlling the display to present the image signal with the second pulse width modulation value under the brightness value.
