The fixation roller includes a body made of metal, an elastic rubber layer formed on the outer circumferential surface of the body, and silicon oil included in the rubber layer to come out to the surface of the rubber layer at a high temperature during printing, thus encompassing the surface of the rubber layer.

Abstract: A roller cleaning apparatus of a liquid electrophotographic printer cleans a circumferential surface of a roller where a film is formed due to contact with a photoreceptor medium. The apparatus includes an abrasion member installed to be in contact with the roller for abrading the film using friction. Thus, contamination of the roller can be prevented.

Abstract: A developing unit for an electrophotographic apparatus that uses a cleaning roll, oppositely charged from the toner remaining on the developing roller, to clean a developing roller after a latent electrostatic image has been developed into a latent toner image. The ink is removed from the developing roller and mixed with fresh toner from the toner cartridge to maintain a uniform charge throughout the toner that is applied to the developing roller and to increase the quality of resolution obtained when printing for an extended period of time.
