Patent number: 8510978Abstract: The present invention relates to an RFID tag holder, which comprises an RFID tag carrier used to carry an RFID tag, and a base having a circular surface, a holding portion and at least one magnetic component disposed therein. The shape of the circular surface matches that of the disposing hole, the magnetic component is used to make the disposing hole magnetically attachable to combine the base with the disposing hole, and two clip arms of a holding unit grip the holding portion and hold the RFID tag carrier after passing through two through holes of a metal substrate. The RFID tag holder has the following advantages: fast installation, low cost and reusability; is suitable for disposing holes with any depth and size; reduced interference and improved reading effect; no extra processing cost; dust-proof, water-proof and oil-resistant; and better composability, extensibility and flexibility.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2011Date of Patent: August 20, 2013Assignee: China Steel CorporationInventors: Sung-Lin Chen, Chang-Tsun Lin, Lien-Kuei Chiang

Publication number: 20120268251Abstract: A wireless identification tag having circular polarization planar antenna is disclosed. The wireless identification tag includes a conductive substrate and a wireless identification device. The conductive substrate includes a first slot portion, a second slot portion, and a third slot portion. The first slot portion, the second slot portion, and the third slot portion pass through the conductive substrate. The first slot portion and the second slot portion stretch in a first direction and a second direction, respectively. The angle between the first direction and the second direction is between 45 degrees and 135 degrees. The third slot portion is connected between the first slot portion and the second slot portion. The wireless identification device is disposed in the first slot portion or the second slot portion. The wireless identification device is used to transmit or receive an electric wave.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2011Publication date: October 25, 2012Applicant: CHINA STEEL CORPORATIONInventors: Sung-Lin CHEN, Chang-Tsun LIN, Shih-Kang KUO, Wei TANN

Patent number: 8044805Abstract: A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag using a monopole antenna is provided, in which an antenna structure is disposed on a metal plate, two ends of an RFID chip are electrically connected to the antenna structure, and the antenna structure and the RFID chip form a loop structure. The RFID tag can be disposed on a surface of an object to be measured, or disposed in an inner accommodation space of the object to be measured, so it is widely used in various applications. Additionally, the RFID tag is easily manufactured, so the production cost can be reduced. Furthermore, the RFID tag has a larger readable distance, and an electromagnetic wave emitting direction of the RFID tag is adjustable according to different included angles between the metal plate and the antenna structure, thereby causing signals to be read easily and identification ability to improve, two desirable effects.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2009Date of Patent: October 25, 2011Assignee: China Steel CorporationInventors: Shih-Kang Kuo, Sung-Lin Chen, Chang-Tsun Lin, Lung-Chi Liao

Patent number: 5181408Abstract: A method of correcting the thickness variations of a rolling plate by controlling at least one of the top or bottom backup rolls of a rolling mill. The method further comprises an off-line eccentricity identification method, and an on-line eccentricity compensation method. The off-line eccentricity identification method is utilized for establishing an eccentricity vector which stores the eccentricity values of the top and the bottom backup rolls. The on-line eccentricity compensation method is utilized for generating eccentricity compensation signals using the eccentricity vector established by the foregoing off-line eccentricity identification method, and for transferring the eccentricity compensation signals to an automatic gauge control (AGC) system for compensating the backup roll eccentricities and thus correcting the thickness variations of a rolling plate.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 1991Date of Patent: January 26, 1993Assignee: China Steel Corp., Ltd.Inventors: Tse-Huei Yeh, Song-Jau Tsai, Chang-Tsun Lin, Long-Gee Liao, Tsai-Sheng Huang
