Abstract: Speaker system for a display including a cover frame integrated type speaker 1 having a cover frame 101 with screw holes 106 for assembly with a rear cover 2 at top and bottom thereof and a speaker 100 for emitting sound integrated with the cover frame 101, a rear cover 2 fastened to a rear of the cover frame integrated type speaker 1 having a vibration attenuation member mounting unit 200 provided on top and bottom thereof, and vibration attenuation means disposed between the cover frame integrated type speaker 1 and the cabinet for attenuating a system vibration to prevent transmission of the system vibration to the cabinet 4, whereby saving cost, improving a productivity, preventing a pressure loss of a sound directed forward caused by a leaked sound directed backward, and attenuating a system vibration from the speaker so as not to reach to the cabinet, to provide a speaker of a high sound quality and a low howling.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multiple damping device of a speaker system for a video display equipment which is capable of having an improved multiple damping structure in the speaker system to thereby achieve a low howling and a high quality of sound. The multiple damping device of the speaker system includes: a cover frame united-type speaker, a back cover assembled at the back portion of the cover frame united-type speaker and installing a damping member fitting portion, at the top and bottom portions thereof, respectively, and a multiple damping part adapted to be installed between the cover frame united-type speaker and a cabinet to thereby cut the transmission of the vibration generated upon the operation of the speaker system to the cabinet.

Abstract: Speaker system in a display including a speaker for presenting a sound, a rear sound box coupled to a back of the speaker, and a changeable duct disposed to pass through a front surface of the speaker and to be positioned in the rear sound box, and detachably fitted to the speaker, for inverting a phase of a particular frequency of sound among sound generated in a back surface of the speaker, and presenting the inverted sound, thereby permitting, not only to change of the duct only for phase inversion of a desired frequency of a sound, but also to discharge of the phase inverted sound to the front of the speaker system for reducing a loss of a sound pressure.

Abstract: Device for mounting a speaker on a display having a back cover and a cabinet mounted on a front of the back cover, including a plurality of bosses formed on an inside surface of the cabinet, vibration attenuation means coupled to the bosses, and holding projections on the speaker fixed to the vibration attenuation means, thereby, attenuating vibration from the speaker by the vibration attenuation means, whereby preventing flickering of an image.

Abstract: An audio induced interference suppression apparatus for a video display appliance capable of suppressing an audio induced interference which may be produced in a color picture tube (CPT) due to the transfer of vibrations arising from the output of a loudspeaker by absorbing and dampening the vibrations to be transferred to the CPT. The apparatus includes a CPT main body, a vibration-absorbing plate, attached to a bottom of the main body, for absorbing vibrations transferred to the main body, a supporter, fixed to a bottom of the vibration-absorbing plate, for supporting the main body, a tilting swivel which is in spherical contact with a bottom of the supporter to adjust tilting and rotation of the main body, and loudspeaker cases fixed to both sides of the supporter.

Abstract: A loudspeaker housing for a video display appliance including a front housing to which a loudspeaker is engaged and a rear housing is disclosed. According to the present invention, the front housing has a main channel and a pair of subsidiary channels, the main channel being coupled with a loudspeaker. The rear housing has a pair of ducts for collecting sounds produced rearwardly from the loudspeaker and guiding the sounds to the subsidiary channels of the front housing. Each one end of the ducts is inserted into the respective subsidiary channel of the front housing, and each of the other ends is positioned within the rear housing, with the other ends being opened. And, the subsidiary channel of the front housing and the respective duct form an acoustic horn so that sound produced rearwardly from the loudspeaker is resonated at special frequency.

Abstract: A monitor support comprising a monitor supporting part which contains speakers and supports the monitor. The monitor support comprises a base; a monitor supporting part coupled on the base to be rotatable, a side of the monitor supporting part formed base and the monitor supporting part so that the monitor supporting part can be rotated; and a shield for sealing the upper portion of the monitor. Therefore, the howling phenomena in the monitor is prevented since the sound pressures generated from the speakers are prevented from being transferred to the cathode-ray tube of monitor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus that removes howling phenomena in a video display appliance capable of absorbing and damping vibrations arising from the output of a loudspeaker to remove the howling phenomena produced by the transfer of the vibrations to a cathode-ray tube. The apparatus includes a vibration-absorbing section mounted on the loudspeaker for absorbing vibrations generated and propagated from the loudspeaker due to the output of the loudspeaker, and a vibration-damping section having a predetermined space for receiving the vibration-absorbing section therein. The vibration-damping section disperses and damps the remaining vibrations passing through the vibration-absorbing section in the space.
