  • Publication number: 20240122037
Abstract: A display device includes a substrate that includes a display area and a non-display area, a display element layer disposed on the display area of the substrate, an opposing substrate that faces the substrate and the display element layer, a sealing member disposed on the non-display area and that couples the substrate and the opposing substrate, and a filler disposed between the substrate and the opposing substrate. A thickness of the filler varies in the range of 60% to 400% of a thickness of the sealing member.

  • Patent number: 10448216
Abstract: A network broadcast method using a MAC unicast and an MPR node allows a source node to transmit a data packet to at least one MPR node which is located within one-hop distance from the source node and allows the at least one MPR node to transmit the data packet to each next-ranked MPR nodes. At least one normal node, which is not an MPR node while being located within one-hop distance from the source node, receives the data packet of the source node, which is transferred from the source node to an MPR node or transferred between MPR nodes through overhearing. Although the source node and MPR nodes are in a hidden-node relationship, collision is prevented, thereby minimizing data packet loss to improve the transmission reliability, and enabling the data packet of the source node to be reliably broadcasted on a network.

  • Patent number: 10070435
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for joint random access control and resource allocation in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus using the same. A method for joint random access control and resource allocation in a wireless communication system includes estimating the total number of Machine Type Communication (MTC) devices, and determining at least one of an access control probability and an amount of resources to be allocated in a next frame depending on an amount of resources required to satisfy a random access delay requirement, by considering access control and resource allocation based on the total number of random access MTC devices.

  • Publication number: 20180234937
Abstract: The present invention is for estimating a location of a terminal in a wireless communication system, and a method of estimating the location includes determining candidate regions based on a propagation time of a signal between the terminal and a radio unit, and determining at least one region among the candidate regions as the location of the terminal according to a signal strength pattern measured by the terminal for a serving cell and at least one neighbor cell.

  • Patent number: 9930693
Abstract: Wireless network, access point, and terminal are disclosed. A method for determining a size of an access window performed in an access point in a wireless network may comprise estimating a number of terminals attempting to access uplink (hereafter, uplink access attempt terminals) in a first access window including at least one uplink slot which is allocated to the terminal or is randomly selected by the terminal so as to transmit uplink data; and determining a size of a second access window next to the first access window based on the estimated number of the uplink access attempt terminals.
