  • Patent number: 8416166
Abstract: An LCD device adapted to prevent a malfunction caused by an electrical current leaking through an electrostatic discharger is disclosed. The LCD device includes the floating line disposed between common line and gate lines or data lines. Electrostatic dischargers are connected between the common line and the floating line as well as between the floating line and the gate lines or the data lines. As such, the LCD device blocks the leakage current caused by the common voltage on the common line from flowing through the electrostatic dischargers. Therefore, the LCD device prevents the increase of electric current consumption and a horizontal defect.

  • Patent number: 8134677
Abstract: Provided are a liquid crystal display panel and a method of fabricating the same, which can increase the attachment force of the liquid crystal display panel by forming holes in wires passing through a seal line in a case where a liquid crystal layer is formed by a dropping method, reduce the resistance of the wires by differentiating the width of the holes from the width of the wires with respect to a specific region of the seal line, and prevent an afterimage defect caused by blurring and contamination of the seal line.

  • Publication number: 20100164031
Abstract: An image sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The image sensor according to an embodiment includes: a semiconductor substrate where a light receiving device is formed for each pixel; a dielectric layer formed on the semiconductor substrate; and a metal layer formed in the dielectric layer and including metal wires and light shielding patterns formed on an interface between pixels. In the image sensor according to the embodiment, since the light shielding pattern is formed by using a dummy pattern of the metal wire, the light shielding pattern may be formed close to the semiconductor substrate to minimize generation of optical leakage current, thereby improving reliability of the device.
