  • Patent number: 12216001
Abstract: A device and a method for detecting a light irradiating angle are disclosed. The device, used to detect the incident direction of a light ray, includes a solar sensor and a processor. The sensing unit of the solar sensor has sensing areas. The sensing areas correspondingly generate sensing signals based on the intensity of the light ray. A mask covers the sensing unit and has an X-shaped light transmitting portion. The light ray transmits the X-shaped light transmitting portion to form an X-axis light ray and a Y-axis light ray. The X-axis light ray intersects the Y-axis light ray. The X-axis light ray and the Y-axis light ray fall on the sensing area. The processor, coupled to the sensing unit, receives the sensing signals and determines information of the incident direction according to the sensing signals.

  • Publication number: 20250017199
Abstract: A biomimetic waterfowl includes a housing, two waterfowl legs, and a driving module. The waterfowl legs are spaced apart from each other in a left-right direction and are mounted to a bottom portion of the housing. Each waterfowl leg includes a first segment mounted to the housing and rotatable about a first axis parallel to the left-right direction, and a second segment rotatable about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The driving module is mounted to the housing and is configured to drive the waterfowl legs. Each of the waterfowl legs is movable between a retracted state, where the first segment extends forwardly from the housing and the second segment extends rearwardly from the first segment, and a propelling state, where the first segment extends rearwardly from the housing and the second segment extends rearwardly from the first segment.

  • Publication number: 20110021883
Abstract: This invention relates to a remote health care system and a method thereof for allowing medical experts specializing in various medical fields to upload various developed program files of symptom diagnosis algorithms to a database of a care server in the remote health care system for adding, revising or updating the program files stored therein, so that the care server can provide a variety of new and useful program files to a user and allow the user to select the program files more appropriate to his/her individual disease and to upload his/her physiological parameter data to the care server. Then, the care server can execute corresponding calculating and analyzing procedures to the uploaded physiological parameter data by using the symptom diagnosis algorithm in the selected program file, and transmit calculation and analysis results to the user or health care workers for precisely and objectively understand the user's individual physiological condition.

  • Publication number: 20080167534
Abstract: The present invention discloses an information collecting apparatus for collecting physiological parameters and the method is applied in the information collecting apparatus. When the information collecting apparatus receives a user's physiological parameter and determines that the physiological parameter does fall within the range of a monitoring limit value registered in the information collecting apparatus, then the information collecting apparatus will send a notice to a management server, so that the personnel, organization or department at the management server is able to monitor the user's health condition and select the most appropriate time to take actions and provide appropriate medical treatments for the user.

  • Publication number: 20080108880
Abstract: A wireless transmission apparatus includes a processing unit, a pushbutton for producing a press signal, a memory unit for storing an identification code, a wireless transmission unit, and a connecting unit connected to a portable detector for receiving a physiological parameter measured by the portable detector. If the connecting unit is not connected and the press signal is received, the processing unit will produce and send an emergency notice signal to the wireless transmission unit that packs the emergency notice signal and identification code as an emergency notice packet to be sent to a service provider. If the connecting unit is connected and the press signal is received, the processing unit will output the physiological parameter to the wireless transmission unit for packing the physiological parameter and identification code as a physiological data packet to be sent to a service provider for monitoring the user's current physiological conditions.
