  • Publication number: 20240342276
Abstract: A silicon dioxide vaccine delivery system uses virus-like particles as templates. The particle morphology of the silicon dioxide vaccine system is 50-500 nm of nanoparticles, of which an antigenic component is 20-200 nm of virus-like particles, an adjuvant component is nano silicon dioxide, the silicon dioxide component is wrapped on the surface of the virus-like particle, and a mass ratio of silicon element to antigen is 50-0.5:1. The construction of the silicon dioxide vaccine delivery system includes steps of: (1) adding a proper amount of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane into an aqueous solution containing virus-like particles and stirring; (2) adding a proper amount of tetraethoxysilane into the dispersion system in step (1) and stirring; and (3) centrifuging a reactant obtained in step (2) and removing a supernatant to obtain a product. A vaccine constructed by means of the vaccine system can trigger a host to generate humoral and cellular immune levels.

  • Publication number: 20230241209
Abstract: A method for preparing a combination adjuvant is based on carboxyl modified aluminum oxyhydroxide nanoparticles. The preparation method uses carboxylated hydroxyl oxide nanoparticles as a carrier, but is not limited to the role of a carrier. The carboxylated hydroxyl oxide nanoparticles are combined with a novel CpG-ODN adjuvant, such that the half-life period of a CpG adjuvant is prolonged. The combination of adjuvants shows a synergistic effect, such that the Th2 type immune stimulation ability is enhanced, and the possibility of Th1 type immunity is also given to the adjuvant.

  • Publication number: 20110200986
Abstract: There is provided a method, an in vitro method and a detection system for detecting the presence of at least one biological molecule in at least one sample. The method can include, for example, providing a sample and/or a binding agent to a contact portion of a surface by way of at least one microfluidic channel; disposing a liquid crystal at the contact portion; determining whether the orientation of the liquid crystal changes after the sample contacts the binding agent, indicating the presence of the biological molecule; and determining length of bright region of the liquid crystal and/or change in interference color of said liquid crystal, and consequently indicating the quantity of said biological molecule. Also disclosed are methods of detecting biological molecules using at least one 4?-pentyl-biphenyl-4-R, where R may be at least one functional group selected from carboxylic acid, amine, aldehyde, and oligopeptide.
