  • Publication number: 20230218230
Abstract: An intravascular blood flow sensing system is provided. The system includes an intravascular catheter or guidewire with a flow sensor that obtains flow data of blood flow within a blood vessel. The system includes a processor circuit that communicates with the intravascular catheter or guidewire. The processor circuit receives the flow data from the intravascular catheter or guidewire, determine a plurality of values based on the flow data, and outputs a plot of the plurality of values to a display. The plot includes peak associated with coronary reactivity testing (CRT). The processor circuit can also automatically change between a louder volume and a softer volume for audio output of the flow data. The processor circuit can additional communicate with a device other than the flow sensor (e.g., ECG, pressure sensor, etc.), and graphical representations of the flow data and the data received from the other device can be independent scaled.

  • Patent number: 10980446
Abstract: The present invention relates to distinguishing different sedentary states of a subject. A sedentary state can refer to standing, sitting and/or lying. An apparatus for determining a sedentary state of a subject is presented that comprises a sensor interface for obtaining a movement signal indicative of a movement of the subject; an extraction unit for extracting a signal feature indicative of postural control oscillations of the subject from the movement signal, wherein the signal feature indicative of postural control oscillations is indicative of center of mass motion oscillations for preventing the subject from falling; and a classifier for classifying a sedentary state of the subject based on the signal feature indicative of postural control oscillations of the subject. Further, a corresponding method, computer program and system are presented.

  • Patent number: 10512480
Abstract: A connection tool for a tongue manipulation system includes a connector configured to be coupled to a tongue advancer tether, a connection tool body, and a separable removal cannula part. The separable removal cannula part is configured to follow a tongue advancer tether line in order to enable a removal sleeve located at least partially within the separable removal cannula part to contact the tongue advancer. The separable removal cannula part is configured to be separated from the connection tool body following the removal sleeve contacting the tongue advancer and to expose a proximal end of the removal sleeve.

  • Patent number: 10448882
Abstract: Various embodiments relate to methods, devices, and systems for ascertaining a sedentary body posture of a subject including: determining if the subject is in a sedentary state when the subject is sedentary for a pre-determined time; receiving a heart rate signal for least one heart rate feature when the subject is in the sedentary state; deriving at least one heart rate feature value when the subject is in the sedentary state further including filtering an arousal value from the received heart rate signal, so as to reduce an influence of the arousal on the determination of the sedentary posture; and determining the sedentary body posture of the subject based on a comparison between the derived at least one heart rate feature value and a pre-determined range associated with the corresponding at least one heart rate feature, wherein for each sedentary body posture, a pre-determined range is stored.

  • Publication number: 20180221042
Abstract: A connection rod for a tongue manipulation device system, the connection rod comprising: a first coupling part (307) configured to couple the distal end of the connection rod to a tongue advancer (305); a second coupling part (309) configured to couple the proximal end of the connection rod to an implant tool (101) or a removal tool (1601), wherein the connection rod is configured to transmit a tension or pulling force from the implant tool (101) or the removal tool (1601) to the tongue advancer (305) such that the tongue advancer is configured to be retracted within the implant tool (101) or removal tool (1601) respectively.
