Abstract: To visualize growing time series data, first data values of a time series are presented for display in a single view, where the data values are for display in cells according to a first density in the view. Additional data values of the time series are received, and a density of the view is modified in response to receiving the additional data values. The first data values and additional data values are presented for display in cells arranged according to the modified density in the view.

Abstract: There is provided a computer-implemented method of aggregating data. An exemplary method comprises receiving an aggregation scheme and generating numerous first aggregations by aggregating data at a first level of granularity. The data may be associated with a time and stored in a first table. Further, generating the numerous first aggregations may be based on the time and the aggregation scheme. The exemplary method further comprises generating a second aggregation by aggregating the first aggregations at a second level of granularity based on the aggregation scheme. The second level of granularity may comprise the first level of granularity.

Abstract: To automatically visually analyze relationship in data records that are presented by a visualization containing cells representing corresponding data records, identification of a threshold of interest is received for a particular one of attributes in the visualization. Nearby areas in the visualization are marked based on the threshold, and data records in the marked areas are mined to determine at least one relationship between the particular attribute and at least one other attribute, and to identify information associated with an exception. A result of the mined at least one relationship is provided, for display, in a graphical element.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for integrating management agents and EM frameworks is provided. For a representative embodiment, the present invention includes an open enterprise management gateway or OEM gateway. The OEM gateway is a software process that functions as an intermediary between one or more management agents and one or more EM frameworks. The OEM gateway includes a set of APIs that allow management agents to export object hierarchies to EM frameworks. The EM frameworks create interactive displays using the exported object hierarchies. The interactive displays allow users to invoke command interfaces for the displayed objects. When command interfaces are invoked, the EM frameworks invoke a callback request API within the OEM server. The OEM server then directs callback processing to an API exported by the appropriate management agent.
