    Abstract: Described herein is a solid electric conductor and methods of making and using the solid electric conductor. The solid electric conductor can include two discrete populations of particles intermixed. A first population of particles can include an ionically conducting solid-electrolyte, and a second population of particles can include an electrode active material. The compositions and methods described allow to achieve high specific energy, good cycle/calendar life, and low cobalt (Co) loading to reduce the cost of battery cells.
