Abstract: A method of making a receptacle connector includes: Step 1: providing an upper terminal module making via a first inserting molded process; Step 2: providing an lower terminal module making via another first inserting molded process; Step 3: stacking the upper and lower terminal modules together in a vertical direction so as to provide a main basis; Step 4: applied an insulative filler on the main basis via a second insert molding process, wherein the insulative filler fills and completes the front tongues of the upper and lower terminal module thereby forming a mating tongue for inserting a plug connector.

Abstract: A receptacle connector includes an insulative housing defining a base and a mating tongue, with a widen and thicken step structure around a root thereof adjacent to the base; two rows of contacts disposed in the insulating housing with contacting sections exposed upon the mating tongue and mount tails out of the base; a metallic shield surrounding the mating tongue so as to define a mating cavity; and a metallic bracket attached the shield. The first wall of the shield defines a pair of spring tangs split therefrom and extending rearwards into the mating cavity, the second wall defines a pair of dimples protruding inwards the mating cavity for holding the plug connector. The bracket covers spring tangs and seals any opens defined on the first wall for keeping integrity therewith under EMI consideration.

The second terminal has a second contacting portion and a second connecting leg. The first metallic shell surrounds the first tongue portion to form a first mating cavity. The second metallic shell surrounds at least a part of the second tongue portion to form a second mating cavity. The first and the second mating cavity are independent and closely stacked along a vertical direction.

The terminal seat includes a base and a mating tongue extending from the base, the mating tongue defines two opposite mating surfaces, a confronting surface and two opposite sides connecting with the mating surfaces and the confronting surface. The terminals include contacting sections exposing upon the mating surfaces and leg sections out of the base. The shielding plate includes a main sheet disposed between the mating surfaces and two thickening sections, the two thickening sections enclose the two opposite sides of the mating tongue and each provides a side latch at an outer side face thereof. Each thickness defines two opposite first surfaces connecting with the outer side face thereof, the first surfaces complete the mating surfaces of the mating tongue.

Abstract: A power management and control module adapted for a liquid crystal display device includes a boost-type DC/DC topology circuit, a LED dimming control circuit and a multiplexer. The boost-type DC/DC topology circuit has a voltage output terminal electrically connected with a logic high power supply terminal of a gate driving circuit and a power supply terminal of a LED backlight source. The LED dimming control circuit is electrically connected with the LED backlight source for dimming operation. A first and second data input terminals of the multiplexer are electrically connected to the voltage output terminal through a first and second feedback networks respectively. The LED backlight source is electrically connected in the second feedback network. A data output terminal of the multiplexer is electrically connected to the boost-type DC/DC topology circuit and alternatively communicated with the first or second data input terminal to provide a feedback input voltage.

The timing controller functions to provide a first start pulse. The level shifter generates a second start pulse by level shifting the first start pulse. The gate driving circuit includes a plurality of shift registers coupled in series and is driven by the second start pulse and the level shifter so as to generate gate signals. The control unit uses the second start pulse and a gate signal generated by a kth shift register to switch a high working voltage provided to the level shifter by the boost converter to a suitable range for driving the gate driving circuit.
