  • Patent number: 10673104
Abstract: A method is provided for testing a semi-finished battery cell. The semi-finished battery cell is charged with a constant current when a voltage difference between the first conductor and the second conductor is less than a voltage threshold. The semi-finished battery cell is charged with a constant voltage when the voltage difference between the first conductor and the second conductor is equal to or larger than the voltage threshold. An overall electric quantity is obtained after a default time period, wherein the overall electric quantity is an electric quantity charged to the semi-finished battery cell with the constant current during the default time period. Accordingly, an insulation related to electrodes of the semi-finished battery cell is determined as poor when the overall electric quantity is larger than an electric quantity threshold.

  • Patent number: 6363607
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a high density connector comprises five steps. The first step is to prepare essential elements of the connector, such as a dielectric cover, a metallic shell, a pair of guiding members and a plurality of contacts. Each contact is L-shaped and comprises a horizontal soldering portion. The second step is to first insert mold a pair of dielectric bases around the contacts to produce a contact subassembly. The three step is to second insert mold a dielectric housing around the contact subassembly to form a contact module. The forth step is to adjust the horizontal soldering portions of the contacts for ensuring a good coplanarity thereof. The fifth step is to assemble the contact module with the cover, the shell and the guiding members, thereby completing the connector.

  • Patent number: 6126481
Abstract: An electrical connection device includes a lower connector and an identical upper connector stacked on and fixed to the lower connector to form a connector stack. A metal shield, including a front shielding member and a rear shielding member, encases the connector stack and a lower face of the lower connector is exposed for being positioned on a printed circuit board. The connectors retain conductive pins having free ends downwardly extending beyond the lower face for electrically engaging the circuit board. Each connector forms a dovetailed tenon on a top face thereof and defines a complementary dovetailed mortise on an opposite bottom face. The connectors are fixed together by means of a tenon and mortise joint formed between the upper connector and the lower connector. Alternatively, a coupler may be provided to connect the upper connector to the lower connector.
