Abstract: The present invention relates to a message reply and performance evaluation system, which are introduced into an electronic mail system. The message reply scheme has some control entries including a deadline for replying the message, an address for replying the message, and a field for verifying the reply. The performance evaluation scheme is provided for a sender performing evaluation corresponding to the replied message. As a sender transmits the message to a recipient, the email system of the sender will incorporate a message-to-reply field to the message. In addition, when the recipient receives the message, a reply field will be added to the email system after opening it. More, a reminder will be launched before the deadline. In particular, after receiving the reply, the sender may perform evaluation to the reply, and the evaluation will be recorded for future review.

Abstract: An Internet fax apparatus and its method are proposed. In the present invention, an Internet fax program capable of functioning together with conventional scanners, printers, or a combination of both, is provided. By connecting to a computer, which has the Internet fax program installed therein, with an image-capturing device, a sound-recording device and a handwriting input device, the present invention can attach video or handwritten attachment to a facsimile file and send it via the Internet. Thus, the present invention reduces the cost of sending a fax and provides a powerful and user-friendly facsimile function.

Abstract: A verification method for personal credit purchases is disclosed. The method utilizes a user data, at least one prerecorded AV data and a user status authentication data stored on a central server to verify of a personal credit purchase. The method of the present invention avoids illegal use of the card by unauthorized individuals.

Abstract: A real-time overall monitor system according to this invention may keep track of the executive states of activities done by employees, comprising client computers and a monitor server. The client computers are mainly used by the employees to do all kinds of activities in working hours, and after the activities are done for file upload, Internet surfing, or web phone, they send activity records. The monitor server uses the record monitor database and the record module to monitor all the outward activities on the client computers. Each monitor record comprises at least an employee ID, an activity type, and start/end time, so a supervisor may easily know what the certain employees did in certain time.

Abstract: This invention provides the real-time interactive system for discussion on documents, images, and videos and method for the same, comprising a display screen, a telecommunication module, a handwriting module, and a controller. The handwriting module may receive handwritten tracks when sensing the inscribe movement of handwriting pen on a handwriting board. The controller shows the document, the image, and the video in an interactive area of the display screen, and in the interactive area for the document, the image, and the video as backgrounds, the discussant of the other side gets the tracks through the telecommunication module or the handwriting module. Accordingly, the operator writes on the document, image, or video to discuss with a discussant of the other side interactively through mutual video communication.

Abstract: A mobile audio/video data transmission system and method for the same, and more particularly to a voice over IP (VoIP) device and its method for transmitting digital signals structured in IP packets is are described. The system uses a plurality of computers and telephone devices at receiving and transmitting terminals. Message exchange platform software is installed on the computers, having at least a mobile AV data conversion device. The transmitting and receiving terminals must use a plurality of mobile communication device and are connected to the telephone device through the telephone network. In the method of transmitting the mobile AV data according to this invention, the AV data is transmitted from the mobile communication device with Internet access to an AV I/O device through the mobile AV data conversion device, or transmitted to the mobile communication device from the computer through the mobile AV data conversion device.

Abstract: An electronic mailbox address book sharing system and a method for the same are proposed. The address book sharing system has an electronic mail server and a plurality of client computers. The electronic mail server has an address book, including a public address book database and a private address book database. All client computers can read data in the address book when logging into the electronic mail server via network, hence accomplishing data sharing of the address book.

Abstract: A mobile audiovisual data transmitting method is described. Thereof a mobile audiovisual data conversion device based on the communication between digital signals of IP packet is used. In the mobile audiovisual data conversion device, a signal conversion module is used, so that the computer on the transmission end or the receiving end can process a data transmission through a relay server connected to the Internet. The relay server has a lookup table for setting the transferring of the phone or computer on the target end so that the data can be transmitted from a mobile communication apparatus to a computer at the other side via the Internet by using the lookup table or from a computer to a mobile communication apparatus via the mobile audiovisual data conversion device and via a phone network by using the lookup table of the relay server.

The system of producing E-mail has a storage module, a selecting module, a producing module and a text input module. The selecting module selects data stored in the storage module, the storage module stores the subject and content required for the E-mail respectively in databases, and the producing module controls the selecting module to select a predetermined subject template and a predetermined content template to produce an E-mail. The text input module allows users to input textual information, and the producing module integrates the textual information input by the text input module into the E-mail.

The address book management system has a mailing list database, a multimedia recording module and an editing module. The mailing list database stores a plurality of mailing lists. The multimedia recording module makes files in multimedia formats. The editing module is used to edit the mailing lists stored in the mailing list database. In the address book management method, the editing module edits the mailing lists with text messages, and the multimedia recording module makes files in multimedia formats into the mailing lists.

Abstract: A multifunction server system is proposed in the present invention to eliminate the drawbacks of conventional server systems. More particularly, the present invention is related to a multifunction server that connects with at least a host computer to form an enterprise intranet and provides services, such as bandwidth management, data management and data security, via software programs installed therein. The present invention performs better when processing multimedia data.

Abstract: A computer system for switching audio outputs and a method thereof are provided. The computer system includes a host, a speaker, an earphone, and a switch controller for selectively switching one of the speaker and the earphone to electrically connect to an audio port of the host. The switch controller includes a first jack for connecting to the speaker, a second jack for connecting to the earphone, a third jack for connecting to the audio port of the host through a cable, and a switch. The switch can be switched so that the first jack and the third jack are electrically connected, and hence the audio signals are outputted to the speaker. Alternatively, the switch can be switched so that the second jack and the third jack are electrically connected, and hence the audio signals are outputted to the earphone.

Abstract: A web camera identification system and method are described. The system uses a web camera, a client computer, and a server website. The web camera stores an authentication password and a video communication application. The server website has an authentication module for identifying the web camera and a function module. After the client computer installs the video communication application provided by the web camera, the web camera can connect to the server website via the client computer. The server website authenticates availability of the web camera by checking the authentication password. The web camera may obtain the services provided by the function module after passing the authentication.
