    Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting a breakdown pressure of a formation and fracturing the formation account for filter cake effects. The systems and methods measure a time-dependent permeability and a time-dependent thickness of a filter cake formed by a first drilling mud. The systems and methods determine a time-dependent permeability model and a time-dependent thickness model of the filter cake. The systems and methods select a breakdown pressure model based on (i) the time-dependent thickness of the filter cake, (ii) the time-dependent permeability of the filter cake, and (iii) the permeability of the formation. The systems and methods use the selected breakdown pressure model to predict the breakdown pressure of the formation and fracture the formation using a drilling fluid having a mud weight associated with the predicted breakdown pressure of the formation.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a connected porosity and a non-connected porosity in a fluid-saturated hydrocarbon reservoir are disclosed. The methods include obtaining at least one rock sample from the fluid-saturated hydrocarbon reservoir, determining, using a petrophysical sample analyzer, at least one petrophysical parameter of the rock sample, and measuring at least one of an elastic wave velocity and an elastic wave attenuation for each of a plurality of wave frequencies. The methods further include determining, using a computer processor, the connected porosity and the non-connected porosity of the rock sample using a dual-porosity single-permeability model based, at least in part, on at least one petrophysical parameter and at least one of the elastic wave velocity and the elastic wave attenuation.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, an unsupervised training application executes a neural network on a first point cloud to generate keys and values. The unsupervised training application generates output vectors based on a first query set, the keys, and the values and then computes spatial features based on the output vectors. The unsupervised training application computes quantized context features based on the output vectors and a first set of codes representing a first set of 3D geometry blocks. The unsupervised training application modifies the first neural network based on a likelihood of reconstructing the first point cloud, the quantized context features, and the spatial features to generate an updated neural network. A trained machine learning model includes the updated neural network, a second query set, and a second set of codes representing a second set of 3D geometry blocks and maps a point cloud to a representation of 3D geometry instances.

    Abstract: A tunable-liquid-crystal-grating-based holographic true 3D display system comprises a laser, a filter, a beam expander, a semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror, a spatial light modulator, a lens I, a diaphragm, a tunable liquid crystal grating, a polaroid, a signal controller, a lens II and a receiving screen. The laser, the filter and the beam expander are used for generating collimated incident light. The spatial light modulator is loaded with a hologram of a 3D object. The diaphragm is positioned behind the lens I for eliminating a high-order diffracted light in the holographic true 3D display. The tunable liquid crystal grating is located on the back focal plane of the lens I and on the front focal plane of the lens II, and the signal controller is used for synchronously controlling the voltage of the tunable liquid crystal grating and the generation and loading of the hologram.

After the application of Penicillium simplicissimum sp. nl-z1, the nutrient elements needed by plants such as potassium, calcium and magnesium in rock powder are effectively released, the fusion of spraying matrix and rock surface is promoted, the nutrition is continuously supplied for plants, the total nodule weight is increased by 152.63%, the content of hydrolyzed nitrogen is improved by 15.28%, and the symbiotic nitrogen fixation ability is effectively exerted. At the same time, the relative abundance of Mortierella in soil is increased from 12.81% to 94.

    Abstract: An acoustic resonator includes a piezoelectric stack including a piezoelectric layer having a top surface and a bottom surface, a top electrode layer disposed above the top surface, and a bottom electrode layer disposed below the bottom surface. A number of acoustic wave reflectors are disposed on a side of the bottom electrode layer opposite the piezoelectric layer. Each acoustic wave reflector includes a high acoustic impedance layer and may include a low acoustic impedance layer. The acoustic resonator may include a tether that extends laterally to a stacking direction of the layers of the piezoelectric stack. A supporting structure may be coupled to the tether opposite the acoustic resonator for anchoring the acoustic resonator. A mirror, one or more phononic crystals, or both may be positioned on proximate the tether opposite the acoustic resonator to avoid resonant waves from exiting the acoustic resonator in use.

The method includes: obtaining a petrophysical characterization of a formation sample, measuring a first and second elastic wave velocity of the formation sample at a first and second frequency, calculating an average rock matrix density and an average porosity of the formation sample, determining a set of calculated elastic wave velocities for the first and second frequencies over a range of candidate permeabilities, and determining a rock matrix permeability and a fracture permeability based on the set of calculated elastic wave velocities at the first and second frequency respectively. The method further including performing a reservoir fluid flow simulation based, at least in part, on at least one of the rock matrix permeability and the fracture permeability.

The present application can generate a simulated tree-structured image with labels that have a style highly similar to that of the real target image. This technology can generate image and segmentation labels for tree target in various medical images, such as brain neurons, retinal vessels, and trachea in the lungs, and the data quality can reach the level of manually annotated data. The model according to the present disclosure is the first model with the ability to automatically generate segmentation level data, and has the advantages of simple and flexible model configuration, high-quality generated data, and a wide range of applications.
