  • Patent number: 12239506
Abstract: Methods for visualizing treatment outcomes are provided. In some embodiments, a method includes obtaining a first 2D image of a patient's teeth from a mobile device, and obtaining an arch model representing an outcome for the patient's teeth after orthodontic treatment. The method can include matching the patient's teeth in the first 2D image to corresponding teeth in the arch model, using a parametric model. The method can also include determining a target position for the patient's teeth, based on a position of the matched corresponding teeth in the arch model. The method can further include generating a second 2D image depicting the patient's teeth in the target position.

  • Patent number: 12239174
Abstract: Medical protective clothing, including a protective clothing body. The protective clothing body includes a hood part, a neck part, a top, pants, shoe cover parts, and sleeves, and is formed by sewing the hood part, the neck part, the top, the pants, the shoe cover parts and the sleeves in sequence. The hood part includes an air exchange assembly. The sidewall of the top is separated from the back of the medical personnel by means of airbag ribs, thus preventing the sweaty back from being in contact with the sidewall of the top to make the people feel uncomfortable when the protective clothing is worn for a long time in summer.

  • Publication number: 20250037247
Abstract: A computing device comprises a memory to store instructions and one or more processors operatively coupled to the memory. Execution of the instructions causes the one or more processors to calculate a quality metric for a region of interest in a received image of a face of a person that comprises a current dentition of the person, wherein data for pixels inside of the region of interest is used to calculate the quality metric, and wherein data for pixels of a second region that is outside of the region of interest is not used to calculate the quality metric; determine whether the quality metric satisfies a criterion; and responsive to determining that the quality metric satisfies the criterion, generate a modified version of the image, wherein the current dentition of the person is replaced with a post-treatment dentition of the person in the modified version of the image.

  • Publication number: 20250005755
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for dental image analysis including determining pixel sizes of an image. A pixel size enables conversion of a two-dimension image-based measurement into a 3D measurement. The pixel sizes vary over the image due to differences in distance between the camera taking the image and the object of interest. A three-dimensional model may be registering to the two-dimension image, and the pixel sizes may be identified on a per-object (e.g., per-tooth) basis, per-region basis or at each point in the image. The pixel size scaling may be used to identify features in the image for diagnostic or other dental application purposes.
