    Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with high-performance arctangent computation at arbitrarily high precision are described. In one embodiment, an example method brackets an angle to a working range of an arctangent approximation polynomial. A closest index of a lookup table to the bracketed angle is determined. An angle shift for the bracketed angle is generated that is configured to move the bracketed angle to a high-precision segment of the range segments. A shifted angle is generated based on the bracketed angle and the angle shift. The arctangent approximation polynomial is evaluated at the shifted angle to produce an estimated arctangent of the shifted angle. A pre-computed arctangent corresponding to the closest index in the lookup table is retrieved from the lookup table in proximate memory. An augmented-precision arctangent is then generated from the estimated arctangent and the pre-computed arctangent.

The discharge control method includes: acquiring battery capacity information of a bidirectional charger connected to the discharge apparatus; determining a load type corresponding to the acquired voltage signal according to a pre-established corresponding relationship between the voltage signal and the load type; and controlling the bidirectional charger to discharge the load according to a preset discharge strategy corresponding to the determined load type and the battery capacity information. In this way, the loads are classified, thereby discharging different types of loads using different discharge strategies, instead of discharging electricity to all the loads using a single discharge control strategy, which is beneficial to making full use of the electric energy of the electric automobile and improving the discharge efficiency thereof.

The methods include contacting the sample with a plurality of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and/or other plasmonic metal nanoparticles (MNPs) that are conjugated with at least two sets of antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, that binds to at least first and second epitopes of SARS-CoV-2 proteins, such as receptor-binding domain (RBDs) under conditions sufficient for the antibodies, or the antigen binding portions thereof, to bind to the first and second epitopes of the SARS-CoV-2 proteins in the sample to produce bound SARS-CoV-2 proteins. The methods also include detecting the SARS-CoV-2 proteins when aggregations of the bound SARS-CoV-2 proteins form with one another.
