The method may also include identifying an optimal mixture of the first fluid among the first tests, where the optimal mixture comprises a minimum concentration of the scale inhibitor that reduces scale deposition. The method may further include performing a second test that combines the first fluid with the scale inhibitor, the second fluid, and rock. The method may also include evaluating a concentration of the scale inhibitor in aqueous phase after a period of time after initiating the second test. The method may further include identifying a target fluid for use in a field operation at the subsurface.

This technology uses reagents comprising media, cells, transfection reagent, AAV enhancer, and a lysis buffer, each of which is designed to provide maximal AAV production from suspension culture of mammalian cells, e.g. HEK293 cells. With this new system we are able to deliver up to about 2×1011 viral genomes per milliliter (vg/mL) of unconcentrated AAV vectors.

In particular, the invention allows introduction of nucleic acid molecules (e.g., vectors) into cells (particularly mammalian cells) and expression of proteins encoded by the nucleic acid molecules in the cells. The invention obviates the need to change the cell culture medium each time a different procedure is performed with the cells (e.g., culturing cells vs. transfecting cells). The three-phase converter includes an AC terminal, three filter circuits, three bridge arm circuits, a capacitor module and a DC terminal connected in sequence and a controller. The controller controls each bridge arm circuit to work in the first and second modes at different time in one line voltage cycle of the AC source. In the first mode, the bridge arm circuit works in a clamping state. In the second mode, the bridge arm circuit selectively works in a DCM mode or a TCM mode. A switching frequency is limited to be lower than a preset frequency.
