  • Patent number: 12590542
Abstract: A method for detecting a stress state-of rocks surrounding a roadway based on three-dimensional electric potential response is disclosed. By collecting electric potential data, and performing spatial interpolation on all the electric potential measurement points to obtain a three-dimensional electric potential imaging volume, three-dimensional electric potentials can be used to draw electric potential isosurface models. By using a radial basis function surface interpolation method to draw a three-dimensional abnormal electric potential inversion probability isosurface model, it is possible to intuitively visualize electric potential distribution spatial characteristics of rocks surrounding a roadway, so as to clearly display a spatial range, direction and development trend of abnormal stress zones, and accurately identify and determine the stress states of roadway rock formations.

  • Publication number: 20260088130
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computational algorithm that statistically infer a PPR code (preference of a PPR motif for a nucleotide base) while matching PPR proteins with their targets accurately without requiring experimental pairing information. From comprehensive lists of PLS-type PPR proteins and editing sites from more than 1500 PPRs, the algorithm derived a quantitative code including novel amino acid combinations in key positions that confer high specificity. For example, the predicted targets suggests that the recently identified DYW:KP domain is unequivocally responsible for the poorly characterized reverse U-to-C editing.

  • Publication number: 20260079153
Abstract: Methods for generating mature neurons differentiated from pluripotent stem cells, such as to facilitate the study of late-onset neurodegenerative disease, are disclosed. The methods include overexpressing the splicing factor muscleblind like splicing regulator 2 (Mbnl2) in cortical neurons. In some aspects, the method further comprises overexpressing RNA binding fox-1 homolog 1 (Rbfox1) and/or reducing expression of polypyrimidine tract binding proteins PTBP1/2. The methods also include accelerated derivation of mature neuron and generation of a tau pathology model. Also disclosed are constructs and compositions for accelerated derivation of mature neuron and/or generation of a tau pathology model.

  • Patent number: 12252972
Abstract: A fluidized coal mining method utilizing self-energy storage of a coal seam is provided, and includes developing a mine roadway, uncovering coal actively, mining coal in fluidization, and backfilling a goaf. Dynamic phenomenon is induced by uncovering the coal actively, a coal-mining drilling well is established from a ground to the coal seam, and the coal seam is subjected to hydraulic in-situ cutting, and a coal-rock mixture subjected to hydraulic cutting flows into a roadway system along a floor roadway, and then coal, gangue and water in the mixture are separated and recycled in a subsequent circulating coal mining process.

  • Publication number: 20250084413
Abstract: Compounds for, and methods of, modeling and treating a neurodegenerative disease, including without limitation frontal temporal dementia (FTD), are provided. An effective dose of a pharmaceutical composition is administered to a patient in need thereof, where the pharmaceutical composition targets at least one muscleblind-like protein (MBNL) binding site on exon 10 of microtubule-associated protein tau (MAPT) to block MBNL binding thereto. The at least one MBNL binding site may be 2 binding sites. The pharmaceutical composition may include the nuclease-inactive dCas13d in complex, with one or more guide RNAs, and/or antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs).
