Abstract: An electrical connector includes: a fastener having an upper cover, a lower cover and a lever, the upper cover having a first side and a second side opposite to each other, the first side extending to form two pivoting ends pivotingly connected to the lower cover, the second side extending to form a clipping portion, the lever pressing the clipping portion, the lever being pivotingly connected with the lower cover; a cover plate covering the upper cover, both ends of one side of the cover plate being provided with a protruding portion respectively on which a first positioning portion is provided for engaging with the second side of the upper cover, the other side of the cover plate being provided with a set of second positioning portions for engaging with the first side of the upper cover. Thus the production yield is increased, and it is suitable for mass production.
