  • Publication number: 20240054736
Abstract: An electronic device such as a head-mounted device may present extended reality content such as a representation of a three-dimensional environment. The representation of the three-dimensional environment may be changed between different viewing modes having different immersion levels in response to user input. The three-dimensional environment may represent a multiuser communication session. A multiuser communication session may be saved and subsequently viewed as a replay. There may be an interactive virtual object within the replay of the multiuser communication session. The pose of the interactive virtual object may be manipulated by a user while the replay is paused. Some multiuser communication sessions may be hierarchical multiuser communication sessions with a presenter and audience members. The presenter and audience members may receive generalized feedback based on the audience members during the presentation.

  • Publication number: 20230298267
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein more accurately or efficiently determine to which of multiple potential virtual objects user input should be directed in a 3D graphical environment. In some implementations, this involves using a rule that accounts for the types of the virtual objects to which a particular event may correspond. For example, a direction of intent may be identified and a rule used to determine to which of multiple potential virtual objects to associate an event.

  • Publication number: 20230095816
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology provide electronic devices that operate, in part, based on enrolled user characteristics, and that can be operated by a guest user that has not been enrolled. For example, upon determining that a current user of an electronic device storing a first physical model of a primary user is a guest user different from the primary user, the electronic device may obtain initial physical characteristic data for the guest user and generate a guest physical model of the guest user based on the initial physical characteristic data. In one or more implementations, the electronic device may operate based on guest user inputs and the guest physical model of the guest user, while updating the guest physical model based on the guest user inputs.

  • Patent number: 11120123
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device with a display device and one or more input devices. The method includes displaying, via the display device, a user interface that includes a new-password field. The method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input that corresponds to selection of the new-password field. In response to detecting the user input that corresponds to selection of the new-password field, the method includes displaying, on the display device, a representation of a new automatically-generated password in the new-password field and displaying, on the display device, an affordance to accept the new automatically-generated password and an affordance to decline to use the new automatically-generated password.
