  • Publication number: 20030071806
Abstract: A system controlled by a predetermined coded scanning device, which would be relatively indestructible when attached to an article by some mechanical or heat seal means and could not be easily removed or altered, when attached to a refillable and reusable mug or container for coffee or some other product it will identify the container with the buyer and will place exactly the same product within the container when requested to do so by the buyer from the vendor of the specific product as programmed by the coded device. If the container is for coffee it is usually fitted with a removable cap, which would also have the same coded device on the cap as on the body of the container which will allow the buyer to place the cap on a sensor which will identify the name of the buyer and will open compartments to allow retrieval of the products after payment has been made at the coffee house or some other fast food type store, payments made by cash or by vendors prepaid debit system.

  • Patent number: 5622281
Abstract: Broadly, the present invention provides a folded sheet dispenser with a vertical end opening extending into the top with a unique, new and novel, internal control plate which controls the one at a time consecutive removal of folded sheets in a horizontal and somewhat vertical direction from within the dispenser and through the end opening. This folded sheet dispenser with the end opening and the internal control plate are the two basic features of this invention which can be combined in the refillable, molded plastic design as well as with the disposable cardboard design.

  • Patent number: 5540354
Abstract: Broadly the present invention provides a semipermanent and reusable container for facial tissue which will be of low cost molded plastic and which will use facial tissues from a standard commercial box or from a compressed individual packet or from a compressed packet removed from a bulk pack of tissue packets, and where the tissues will be removed vertically from the top opening, one tissue at a time. An internal control plate will control the subsequent removal of tissues from the packet inside the container one tissue at a time and will also assist in holding the tissue vertically for ease of removal. The container is fitted with a detachable bottom to support the packet of facial tissues. The packets are from a compressed packet of tissues or from a standard box of loose packed tissues. The tissue packets may be contained within a poly pack and with an integral carrying strap and which may also contain the dispenser and its basic plastic parts within the poly pack to reduce packaging and shipping costs.

  • Patent number: 5097541
Abstract: A curtain holding device of the type for use in association with a shower curtain for holding the shower curtain against billowing into the shower area during use of the shower. The device is attachable to the shower curtain support rod together with the shower curtain so that a number of the devices may be drawn to spaced intervals along the intermediate portion of the support rod when the curtain is drawn from an open to a closed position. Unlike known shower curtain controlling devices, the device of the present invention includes a weighted member which provides a turning moment on an elongated curtain engaging member so as to force the member to pivot outwardly from the shower area not only to prevent the curtain from being drawn into the shower area but to hold an intermediate portion of the shower curtain outwardly from the shower area and thereby provide an enlarged shower area, particularly at an elbow height for the user of the shower.

  • Patent number: 5007120
Abstract: A device for use with and for controlling the position of a shower curtain of the type which may be mounted on a rod above the outside rim of a bathtub. Such shower curtains are usually suspended by curtain hooks slidable along the rod so that the curtain can be pulled between an open position adjacent one end of the bathtub to a closed position and thereby close off a shower area. The device of the present invention functions to hold the curtain away from the user of the shower and to further encourage the lower edge of the curtain to remain in engagement with the inside of the side wall of the tub below the outside rim thereof and thereby prevents cold air form entering the shower area. The device includes a downwardly extending section depending from a mounting section which is supported on the curtain rod, the downwardly extending section having a curtain engaging lower end.

  • Patent number: 4326631
Abstract: A rigid insulation assembly including a plurality of panels of rigid insulation fixed in edge-to-edge relationship on a top base sheet to form a continuous length of insulation material wound on a core member whereby the insulation may be readily handled and be quickly applied to a roof deck by unrolling the material. The core is of polygonal cross-section so as to define a plurality of faces about its periphery, and the panels in the innermost layer on the core are of substantially the same width as the faces with the panels in each successive layer outwardly from the innermost layer having progressively greater widths so that the joint lines between adjacent panels are located substantially on radial lines passing through the corner edges between the faces of the core.
