  • Patent number: 9317540
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method a system and an aggregation engine for providing a structural representation of a physical entity. Processing units provide representation of elements composing the physical entity. Processing units comprise a label, which represent the elements, and a state. Links are established between the processing units. By iteration in the aggregation engine, the states and labels of the processing units are updated based on states and labels of linked processing units. A graphical representation of the physical entity is obtained based on the labels, on the states, and on the links.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 2012
Date of Patent: April 19, 2016
Assignee: SOCPRA SCIENCES ET GENIE S.E.C.
Inventors: Jean Rouat, Jocelyn Bergeron, Louis-Charles Caron, Vincent de Ladurantaye, Frederic Mailhot

  • Publication number: 20120222787
Abstract: Disclosed is a card holder that protects credit cards, debit cards, and other types of magnetic cards without causing physical damage to the magnetic stripe or demagnetization thereof. The device contains an aperture, allowing for attachment to a key ring. The location of the key ring holder affords a user the option of attaching a magnetized card to the key ring, thereby allowing the card to rotate into and out of the holder as desired. This improves accessibility for a user when their magnetized cards are required. The holder can optionally include a window on the front for displaying flat articles, such as pictures, calendars, business cards, or advertising materials.

  • Patent number: 4821327
Abstract: The stethoscope comprises a membrane (2) sensor (1) connected by a tube (3) to ear-pieces (8 & 9). The tube (3) traverses a casing (10) containing an electrical unit connected by a cable (12) to an electrical sensor (11). The electrical unit is sensitive to a given frequency range and comprises an electro-acoustic emitter (19) supplying acoustic signals into conduit (3) which are obtained in response to signals coming from the sensor (11) according to a predetermined scheme.

  • Patent number: 4133329
Abstract: An electronic ignition device for an internal combustion engine comprises a capacitor supplied by a charging circuit, a thyristor controlling discharge of the capacitor into the primary of an ignition coil, and a control circuit including an oscillator successively producing non-conduction and conduction of the thyristor several times in response to each opening of a contact-breaker. The device also comprises an RC delay element and a bistable trigger controlled to prevent operation of the control circuit when the device is switched on while the contact-breaker is in a given position, said trigger permitting operation of the control circuit as soon as the contact-breaker comes into action.

  • Patent number: 3982497
Abstract: Improved jet-propelled power boat with a tunnel drive and propeller external to the boat to produce the jet and low lines. The boat is fiberglass, and the front is rounded to prevent cracking when docking or otherwise striking an object. The cockpit is surrounded with a raised deck on all sides, including the rear, and also by raised rails on the inner portion of the deck sides. Cellular plastic flotation is used instead of air chambers, which can puncture, and individual air intakes to a closed engine compartment at a level above the highest part of the deck prevent entry of water that may have splashed into the cockpit.
