  • Patent number: 5189823
Abstract: A decoy including a decoy body and a leg assembly supporting the decoy body above the ground and for selective shiftable movement between a first decoy position and a second decoy position. The leg assembly includes a pair of legs connected to and supporting the decoy body, at least one leg having an upper end engaging the decoy body such that the decoy body is releasably selectively shiftable with respect to the leg assembly between the first decoy position and the second decoy position.

  • Patent number: 5154467
Abstract: A portable storage rack for storing and displaying containers comprising a pair of pivotally joined planar base members positionable between a folded position wherein the base members are in back-to-back relation to facilitate easy, compact transport of the storage rack, and an unfolded position where the containers stored on the storage rack are all displayed. Each of the base members includes an outer container supporting surface having opposite ends, and each of the base members is provided with a pair of container support members for removably supporting a pair of containers in end-to-end relation adjacent the respective container supporting surface, each of the containers being slideably insertable between one of the pairs of support members from one of the opposite end portions of the container supporting surfaces so that the containers are always accessible regardless of whether the storage rack is folded or unfolded.

  • Patent number: 5149152
Abstract: A lockable latch assembly including a base, a latch member pivotally supported on the base for movement between a latched position and an unlatched position, and a locking mechanism housed in the base. The locking mechanism comprises a driver member that is pivotable between a lock position and an unlock position, the driver member including an elliptical outer cam surface. The locking mechanism also comprises a locking member including a flexible band surrounding the cam surface and slidingly engaging the cam surface, the band being deformable to conform to the contour of the cam surface, and a pair of diametrically opposed locking bars extending radially outwardly from the band. Pivotal movement of the driver member actuates reciprocal movement of the locking bars between extended and retracted postions by deforming the band. When in the extended positions the locking bars are engagable with the latch member to restrict movement thereof from the latched position.

  • Patent number: 5136800
Abstract: A bird decoy which can be used either on land or in water. This decoy includes a body portion, a neck portion and a head portion. The body portion includes an integral flotation ring for supporting the decoy when the decoy is used on water. The bottom of the body portion defines a central, downwardly-opening cavity which is adapted to receive another body portion in a stackable relationship.

  • Patent number: 4930591
Abstract: A golf cart having an engine enclosure comprising a forward and a rearward clam shell, each pivotally connected to the cart chassis at their front and rear ends, respectively, to provide access to the engine compartment. The shells abut at their inner edges to provide a streamlined appearance. The forward shell is removable at the pivotal connection.

  • Patent number: 4867727
Abstract: The invention provides a rotatable device including a body adapted to be supported for rotation about an axis of rotation. A resilient electrically conductive member is supported by the body for rotation with the body, and has first and second blades, the second blade being generally parallel and spaced radially inwardly of the first blade with respect to the axis of rotation of body. The first and second blades of the resilient electrically conductive member define a battery receiving area therebetween adapted to house a button type battery. A electrically operable device is mounted on the second blade of the resilient electrically conductive member and is centrifugally activated when the body is rotated about the axis.

  • Patent number: 4838445
Abstract: A container such as a tackle box including a plurality of spaced apart partitions defining a plurality of cavities, the faces of the partitions having a plurality of uniformly spaced, generally parallel ribs perpendicular to the container bottom, and divider members extending between the partitions and dividing the cavities, the opposite ends of the divider members having projecting flanges extending in generally opposite directions and having faces adapted to engage the surfaces of the partitions, and the faces having a plurality of uniformly spaced, generally parallel ribs adapted to engage and nest between ribs of the partitions the flanges are each resiliently flexible and each is resiliently biased into engagement with the partitions.

  • Patent number: 4768651
Abstract: A satchel-style tackle box, that has storage compartments for tackle, baits, fishing accessories and other equipment, is disclosed. The box permits ready and facile access to all the storage compartments when the box is disposed in its horizontal in-use position. Some of the storage compartments are accessible through the open upper end of the box. A lid assembly is hingedly connected with the upper, rear edge of the box and may be used to selectively close the upper end of the box. The lid assembly has two parts, a front part and a rear part that is connected with the box. The front part may be selectively opened, without opening the remainder of the lid assembly, so as to permit selective access to the front most storage compartment.

  • Patent number: 4739577
Abstract: A molded plastic tackle box is adapted for use by fishermen to store and transport items of tackle, bait, fishing accessories and other equipment. The box has a selectively movable storage deck adapted to temporarily and safely hold a limited number of such items. The storage deck may be mounted in the box during normal usage and transportation of the box. However while fishing, the storage deck may be mounted outside of the box on the side wall of the box. When the deck is so mounted, the lid of the box may be closed so as to prevent rain water and other casual water from getting into the box and to preclude the spillage of the contents of the box if it would happened to be bumped or tipped over.
