  • Publication number: 20240324560
Abstract: The invention discloses a livestock monitoring system utilizing firmware and computer-readable instructions for IoT devices. It tracks the health and location of livestock by monitoring their temperature and adjusting the frequency of data transmission accordingly. When the temperature is within normal ranges, data is sent once per hour; for slightly elevated temperatures, data transmission increases to every 30 minutes, and for high temperatures, it increases to every 15 minutes, reverting back to hourly transmissions when temperatures normalize. The system includes features such as activation via magnet, SMS/email notifications, reprogramming over-the-air, and alerts for temperature fluctuations. Additionally, it incorporates facial recognition for livestock identification and disease traceability to locate animals within a specified distance of a diseased individual.

  • Publication number: 20240315211
Abstract: A system and method for animal monitoring is disclosed. The system comprises a bolus communicatively coupled to a plurality of wireless transponder and a wireless network with a base station in communication with the plurality of wireless transponder. The bolus comprises of a plurality of sensor to measure animal characteristic at a pre-configured sampling/polling rate, a processing unit, a memory unit, a clock unit, a transceiver unit and a plurality of antenna unit. The method comprises at least one of the plurality of sensor detecting/identifying a variation in animal characteristic. The processing unit using the memory unit and the real time clock unit is configured to change the corresponding pre-configured sampling/polling rate of the at least one of the plurality of sensor automatically depending on rate of variation in the animal characteristic. The transceiver unit is configured to communicate the automatic changes in pre-configured sampling/polling rate to the plurality of wireless transponder.

  • Publication number: 20050115255
Abstract: A vehicle climate control system develops a fog index based on relative humidity at or near the inner surface of the windshield, and uses the fog index to variably override the normal control settings. The relative humidity is combined with a pair of humidity thresholds to form a dimensionless fog index, and fog index values within a predetermined range are applied to a variable path function for transitioning between existing control settings and control settings that maximize defogging.

  • Patent number: 6475645
Abstract: A painted steel article having a steel surface, being plated with a corrosion-resistant coating. The corrosion-resistant coating contains at least 90% zinc, cobalt, at least one trivalent or higher-valent metal, and at least one colloidal inorganic material. The paint is then electrodeposited directly on the corrosion-resistant coating.

  • Patent number: 5825883
Abstract: A method and apparatus that accounts for utilization of digital applications on an as used basis is accomplished by compensating a publisher for each use of its digital application instead of a lump sum purchase price. This is done by embedding a tariff file within the digital application where a digital application may be a software application, a video file, a text file, and/or an image file. The embedded tariff file, which includes a digital application identification code and a publisher identification code, is used by a meter module to generate accounting information. The accounting message is routed to a collection agency which, in turn, generates debiting information for the user and crediting information for the publishers of the digital application.
