Abstract: A curtain rod assembly according to example embodiments may include a first rod, a second rod, a collar assembly attached to the first end of the second rod and a second collar attached to the second end of the second rod. The first collar assembly and the second collar assembly may be attached to the first rod and the length of the second rod may be independently adjustable with respect to the length of the first rod. At least one of the first and second collar assemblies may be configured to be adjustably positioned on the first rod. At least one of the first and second collar assemblies may include a locking mechanism for fixing the position of the at least one of the first and second collar assemblies with respect to the first rod.

Abstract: The shower curtain rod assembly is adapted to be mounted between opposing surfaces of a shower enclosure. The assembly includes a rod with a two-part arcuate main section extending between first and second spaced, substantially parallel side sections. First and second mounting brackets are provided to engage the side sections and to secure the side sections to the respective shower curtain surfaces. Each of the brackets includes a body defining channel means for removably receiving a side section and a plate for mounting the body to a shower enclosure surface.

Abstract: A tension rod assembly is provided that includes first and second telescoping rod sections. An outer diameter of the second rod section is larger than an outer diameter of the first rod section. First and second end members are provided. Each of the first and second end members has a recess with substantially the same inner diameter. The first end member is adapted to be received on the end of the first rod section. The second end member is adapted to be received on the end of the second rod section. An adapter is interposed between the end of the first rod section and the first end member. The adapter is configured to compensate for the difference in the outer diameters of the first and second rod sections such that identical end members can be used on both ends of the tension rod.

Abstract: A hook is provided for simultaneously supporting a shower curtain and a shower curtain liner in side by side spaced, parallel relation on a shower curtain rod. The shower curtain and the shower curtain liner each have an opening therein proximate the top edge thereof. The hook includes a portion for engaging the rod. First and second spaced support portions, each of which is connected to the rod engaging portion, are provided. Each of the support portions includes a generally “U” shaped portion defined in part by an upstanding member. The upstanding member of the first support portion is adapted to be received through the opening in the shower curtain to retain the shower curtain. The upstanding member of the second support portion is adapted to be received through the opening in the shower curtain liner to retain the shower curtain liner. The hook is fabricated from a single continuous wire section by making a series of bends therein.
