  • Publication number: 20140375646
Abstract: Guides used to illustrate straight lines for positioning graphic objects in an art board are dynamically altered to maintain a designated offset and alignment when used in simulations of displays with different display resolutions. Each guide is associated with an alignment and offset that is used to position the guide in an art board. When the display resolution of the art board changes, each guide is automatically rendered to a position that maintains the alignment and offset associated with each guide.

  • Patent number: 8160389
Abstract: Image editing tools are commonly used to assist with manipulating and saving visual compositions. Many image editing tools provide slicing functionality to create images slices (sub-images) of the visual composition. As provided herein, a slice representation of a visual composition is defined by an arbitrarily chosen set of coordinates within the visual composition. This slice region may be defined independent of other slice regions (e.g. the slice region may or may not overlap, abut, etc. other slice regions). The slice representation comprises the slice region and one or more objects or portions thereof within the slice region. Slice representations may also comprise overlapping objects and/or slice region coordinates. Objects may be manipulated within a slice representation without affecting that object within other slice representations.

  • Publication number: 20070055755
Abstract: A remote authoring service is described. Remote page authoring includes receiving a stream of data from a server that includes embedded control attribute data. The embedded control attribute data facilitates the generation of a proxy control and allows a web page designer to make modifications to dynamic elements of the webpage without requiring the executable code for the actual controls. The proxy control may provide preview data of the control to allow the client to perform authoring functions using the proxy control. Modifications made via the proxy control service may then be transmitted to the server where the controls are updated.
