  • Publication number: 20190084133
Abstract: A powered ratchet comprises a motor, a coupling shaft, a drive member, a ratchet arm, and a ratchet head. The coupling shaft is operably coupled with the motor. The drive member is drivingly coupled with the coupling shaft such that the drive member is rotatable about a first drive axis. The drive member is slidably coupled with the coupling shaft and slidable with respect to the coupling shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. The ratchet arm is slidably and rotatably coupled with each of the coupling shaft and the outer sleeve. The ratchet arm is slidable with respect to the outer sleeve between a retracted position and an extended position. The ratchet head is rotatably coupled with the ratchet arm and operably coupled with the drive member such that rotation of the drive member about the first drive axis facilitates rotation of the ratchet.

  • Publication number: 20130052105
Abstract: A system and method for processing aqueous solutions is provided. A method for controlled bubble collapse is provided, which catalyzes chemical reactions in aqueous solutions that cause metal and other ions and compounds in solution to form hydroxide, oxide, protonated, polyatomic and other stable precipitate species, compounds or complexes. The reactions convert metal ions in solution into stable metal hydroxide, oxide and other precipitates or solid complexes. Further processing including recirculation, detention, precipitate formation and detection can be utilized. Pressure and flow modulated and regulated recirculation of precipitate laden aqueous solution through a hydrocyclone particle or precipitate separation circuit can also be utilized.

  • Publication number: 20120071702
Abstract: A pump system and controller for a chemical reactor for converting water and carbon dioxide into a fuel gas is provided. Carbon dioxide gas bubbles are created and introduced into pumped water and delivered to a regenerative turbine pump where bubbles are collapsed to produce an ionized gas and ionized liquid mixture containing hydrogen, hydroxyl radicals and hydroxide, which subsequently react with the carbon dioxide gas present in the bubble, reducing it to carbon monoxide, with further reactions yielding methane.

  • Publication number: 20120070315
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to produce gas vapor bubbles in a liquid media and collapsing the bubble to create a plasma hot spot. Generated bubbles are introduced and collapsing the bubbles results in the partial or total conversion of the internal and boundary layer gas and liquid phase content of the bubble to plasma, ionized gas and ionized liquid. Consequently, a change or increase in the reactivity of the elements and compounds in the gas or liquid phases of the bubble and the surrounding liquid media occurs.

  • Patent number: 8079592
Abstract: An aide and strategy layout and method for the solution of a Sudoku puzzle utilizes a row grid (Y) and a column grid (Z). The player can utilize the three grids as well as box's to aid in solving the puzzle. The layout can be provided on paper or on a game board. The game board secures game pieces to the game board 300 via magnets, a cavity, adhesive, etc. An alternative game board utilizes a cellophane sheet and a black (or colored) backing material for removably scribing the solution. The solution aid can be automated using a computer processor, respective software, and a display.

  • Publication number: 20080095969
Abstract: This invention discloses a protective disc and structure to hold an optical data disc to the protective disc so that if the during use the combination of the data disc and protective disc are mishandled the protective disc does not permit the data to become scratched. Instead the protective disc might become scratched. The data disc is held to the protective disc in a releasable fashion so that it can be removed from the protective disc and attached to another if the first protective disc becomes scratched. The data disc can be held to the protective disc by a band which extends entirely around the circumference of a data disc. The band can be comprised of two semicircular rings which are held together by hinges and/or by clasps so that as the semicircular rings are brought together they surround the edges of the protective disc and the data disc and hold the discs together. Alternatively, the band can be made of a continuous ring of heat shrink material.

  • Publication number: 20070223771
Abstract: Method, procedure, and device for applying tactile sensation and vibration to the human body. In this invention one (or more vibrating) elements emit sine waves between 20 and 800 Hz. These waves are varied in frequency, amplitude and rhythm to create in the subject the sensation of massage moving through different parts of the body even though the signal emitter may be a point source.

  • Publication number: 20070132170
Abstract: An offset sheet feeder comprises a first stack feeder configured to hold a stack of first sheets and to feed individual ones of the first sheets from the stack of first sheets, and a second stack feeder configured to hold a stack of second sheets and to feed individual ones of the second sheets from the stack of second sheets. The second stack feeder is positioned rearward and at a relative offset with respect to the first stack feeder, such that second sheets fed forward from the second stack overlap with first sheets fed from the first stack by an amount related to the relative offset. Aligned, overlapped pairs of first and second sheets can be fed into a box forming apparatus. The offset sheet feeder may include a glue dispenser for depositing adhesive in the overlap area of second sheets fed from the second stack feeder.

  • Publication number: 20060179664
Abstract: A tool for sectioning an edge of a wiper blade having a body with a substantially elongated and rectangular shape with first and second ends and constructed from a hardened plastic material. An aperture being defined in the body in a lengthwise extending direction between the first and second ends, the aperture substantially matching a cross-sectional profile of the wiper blade. A depth adjustable blade contained within the body and in communication with the aperture, the blade further including a substantially ā€œVā€ shaped notch defining first and second interconnected cutting edges centered relative to the aperture. The cutting edges intercept the edge of the wiper blade as it is drawn along the aperture and in order to section a portion therefrom.

  • Patent number: 6402151
Abstract: A game, referred to as Dazzle, that is played with flat, twelve-sided regular polygon tiles. The tiles are radially divisible by segments from the center point to the corners of the external sides into six sections—two sections encompassing one external edge, two encompassing two external edges, and two encompassing three external edges. By arrangement of these different-shaped “wedges” five tile types are generated. Three different colors, textures, or other unifying property different tiles are used with further constraints to produce a basic set. The game is played by a player selecting a tile from a pool. The first player then places the tile in the playing area, and is awarded a pre-set number of points. Subsequent players in turn select a tile from the pool and play it on the playing area. Tiles are placed so that the sides of adjacent tiles-match evenly.

  • Patent number: 5429704
Abstract: A tool for etching at least one selected area of a silicon dixoide layer on a wafer. The tool includes a container which is partially filled with hydrofluoric (HF) acid. The tool further includes a template having an aperture extending between each selected area and the container. Vapors of the HF acid pass through each aperture to contact and etch each selected area in order to expose a test die on the wafer. An O-ring is associated with each selected area for sealing each of the selected areas from the remaining areas on the silicon dioxide layer such that substantially only the selected areas are etched by the vapors.
