Abstract: The invention is directed to the treatment of lung cancer, preferably non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by means of a combination therapy comprising concurrent chemo-radiotherapy followed by vaccination with a muc-1 lipopetide. The therapy elicits prolonged survival rates compared to a respective therapy including sequential chemo-radiotherapy.

Abstract: An oil system includes a de-aerator and an oil tank. The de-aerator includes a fluid inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet, the first and second outlets both feeding into the oil tank. The oil tank includes an air outlet and an oil outlet. The de-aerator is arranged in use to at least partially separate an air oil stream entering via the fluid inlet into a de-aerator air flow including air and a de-aerator oil flow comprising oil. The de-aerator air flow enters the oil tank via the first outlet and the de-aerator oil flow enters the oil tank via the second outlet. The oil tank is arranged such that an oil tank air flow including air exits the oil tank via the air outlet and an oil tank oil flow including oil exits the oil tank via the oil outlet.

The reagent bottles are labeled on their bottom surfaces with an identification label bearing a machine-readable identification code. The automatic chemical analyzer includes a reagent tray having a plurality of tray apertures therein which receive coded reagent bottles and which expose the bottom surface of each bottle for optical viewing of the machine-readable identification code. The analyzer further includes optical scanner means positioned below the reagent tray for reading the machine-readable identification code on the bottom surfaces of reagent bottles within the tray apertures. The tray apertures are selectively located over the optical scanner means so that the analyzer can identify the reagent bottle and the contents thereof.The identification label has a spaced pair of position reference dots defining and orienting a label area.
