  • Patent number: 8137769
Abstract: A landscape concealment structure (200) includes a housing (150) formed by shell (100) and a cover panel member (140) coupled to the shell and overlaying an enclosed space (126) into which a utility structure or mechanical device (20) is received to obscure such from view. The shell includes at least a pair of side panel members (120 and 130) coupled to a front panel member (110). The housing is camouflaged by a plurality of artificial foliage members (160) coupled to the housing to take on the appearance of a shrub, tree or other flora. The landscape concealment structure may further include a coupling assembly (180) that has a pivotal coupling (182) for facilitating rotative displacement of at least the shell relative to a base surface (30, 34).

  • Patent number: 8112325
Abstract: An automatic “photo booth” for capturing images of objects including but not limited to motor vehicles provides consistent and rapid image capture from multiple viewpoints. Ultrasonic sensors or other positional sensing devices are used to both position the object with the photo booth enclosure and calculate field of view parameters controlling digital cameras to provide appropriate image scaling/cropping at time of image capture. The enclosure provides automatic entry/exit door opening/closure and a controlled interior space to provide a controlled environment for image capture. Captured images may be rapidly uploaded to a server for electronic distribution over the World Wide Web or other appropriate network.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20050271197
Abstract: A telephone switching device which includes a detector for identifying a call waiting (CW) signal when the incoming telephone line is in use. The detector device automatically switches the incoming telephone line to the second call and monitors for additional coded function signals such as a facsimile machine calling (CNG) signal indicating that a data transmission is desired. Appropriate switching functions are provided to connect attached telephony data devices for receiving the incoming data transmission. A microprocessor is used for receiving various function signals and performing the switching of the telephone line and attached apparatus. This allows the reception of an incoming data transmission on a single telephone line while the line is already in use. A voice message can be provided before the switching of the telephone line in response to the CW signal warning the first caller of the impending switch.
