  • Patent number: 7314286
Abstract: A flashlight with a rotatable lamp head is provided. The lamp head pivots about two cylindrical coaxial electrical connectors. The lamp head also includes reflector having a major parabolic reflective surface and a minor reflective parabolic surface. The reflector is configured so that the minor reflective surface is nested within the major reflective surface. The flashlight also includes a series of fluid-tight seals to insure that the flashlight is waterproof. In addition, a flapper valve is provided to function as a one-way valve allowing the release of gases produced by the use of the batters, and preventing fluid from entering the flashlight. A battery charger is also provided to recharge a battery pack for the flashlight.

  • Publication number: 20050247651
Abstract: An adjustable organizer system has a horizontal top rail with an upward facing top side. At least one vertical upright support has one or more contact surfaces carried on an upper end of the upright support. Each of the contact surfaces has at least a downward facing portion engaged with the top side of the top rail. The upright support is suspended from the top rail such that the one or more contact surfaces can move along the top rail wall remaining in contact with the top side to selectively position the at least one vertical upright support laterally along the top rail.

  • Publication number: 20050115853
Abstract: A tool holder has a holder body with a rear end, a top side, a lower side spaced beneath the top side a distance to define a body height, and a free front end. A storage space extends rearward into a part of the body and originates at an entry opening. The entry opening is open from the top side to the lower side in the free front end. The storage space terminates at a storage region in the body and is oriented extending between the top side and the lower side. The storage region defines a tool handle storage reference axis extending between the top side and the lower side. The entry opening defines a tool handle insertion axis generally within a plane of the free front end at an acute angle relative to the tool handle storage axis. A tool inserted into the storage space must rotate end to end from the insertion axis orientation to the storage axis orientation.

  • Patent number: 5853241
Abstract: A convertible flashlight (10) is provided having a head portion (12, 14) containing a lamp (36). A pair of divergent rear surfaces (15a, 15b) are formed on the head portion (12, 14), and a pair of rearwardly-extending arms (16a, 16b) having complementary forward surfaces are joined to the rear surfaces of the head portion by axial-pivotal connections (45a, 45b). In a first configuration, the arms extend rearwardly in parallel to provide a handle for configuring the flashlight in a hand-held configuration. When the arms (16a, 16b) are rotated about the axial-pivotal connections to the head portion (12, 14), the distal ends of the arms are moved apart so that the convertible flashlight assumes a second configuration, wherein the arms diverge outwardly from the respective rear surfaces of the head portion (12, 14) to provide a mounting surface to facilitate mounting the convertible flashlight to the head of a user.
