  • Publication number: 20240081802
Abstract: Various methods and devices are provided for allowing multiple surgical instruments to be inserted into sealing elements of a single surgical access device. The sealing elements can be movable along predefined pathways within the device to allow surgical instruments inserted through the sealing elements to be moved laterally, rotationally, angularly, and vertically relative to a central longitudinal axis of the device for ease of manipulation within a patient's body while maintaining insufflation.

  • Publication number: 20200092688
Abstract: One example method of operation may include identifying a call destined for a mobile device, querying a number portability database for call routing information, receiving one or more of a location routing number assigned to the mobile network operator and a location routing number assigned to the mobile virtual network operator, forwarding a call message associated with the call to a session border control device operated by the mobile network operator, and determining whether to route the call to a mobile network operator subscriber or a mobile virtual network operator based on whether the location routing number is assigned to the mobile network operator or the mobile virtual network operator.

  • Patent number: 6766327
Abstract: A method for linking data using persistent links is disclosed. The links are created in a central repository, which maintains an identification class for each entity. The identification class contains all available information concerning the entity. By matching links instead of names and addresses, potential ambiguities and erroneous duplicates are eliminated. The links are encoded before external distribution with a client-specific key; the link encoding discourages clients from collaborating to use personal information without authorization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 12, 2002
Date of Patent: July 20, 2004
    Assignee: Acxiom Corporation
Inventors: Charles D. Morgan, Jr., John R. Talburt, Shawn G. Harvey, Terry M. Talley, Walter E. Anderson, Samuel Kenton Welch, C. Stuart White

  • Patent number: 6073140
Abstract: A method and system for the creation, enhancement and update of data on a customer database using data from a central database and persistent keys that are linked to each data structure is disclosed. The persistent keys allow the matching of equivalent data structures between the remote and central databases so that enhancement data from the central database can be overlaid onto the customer database. The persistent keys also make the update of data on the customer database more efficient, since key matching allows the transfer of only the data that is needed to update the customer database. The central database may physically contain all of the enhancement data, or may use a central database manager to transparently link a group of physically remote databases using the persistent keys. Data may be transferred from the central database to the customer database either in batch mode or in a near real-time mode through a direct table join.

  • Patent number: 5299245
Abstract: A spacer grid for a nuclear fuel assembly. A plurality of metal strips are interleaved on edge to define a plurality of individual cells. Each cell is sized to receive a single nuclear fuel rod. A series of projections, grid mixing vanes, extend from one edge of each metal strip and are alternately bent to extend on opposite sides of the metal strip. The alternating projections provide four grid mixing vanes that extend into each individual cell.

  • Patent number: 4720711
Abstract: A mode scheduling system for selecting track or search dwells in a track-while-scan radar. Targets to be tracked are classified according to acceleration levels and then arranged into priority classes based upon the acceleration. A relative update frequency for the targets in the priority classes is established. The track and search dwells are made during a repetitive dwell period having a predetermined number of track dwell intervals. Track dwells are scheduled during these intervals to satisfy the update frequency requirements. When all of the track dwell positions are not needed, search dwells are substituted for some of the track dwells. Search dwells are also inserted between track dwells, as needed, to maintain a minimum amount of search time regardless of the number of targets being tracked.
