  • Patent number: 10903034
Abstract: A field emission transistor uses carbon nanotubes positioned to extend along a substrate plane rather than perpendicularly thereto. The carbon nanotubes may be pre-manufactured and applied to the substrate and then may be etched to create a gap between the carbon nanotubes and an anode through which electrons may flow by field emission. A planar gate may be positioned beneath the gap to provide a triode structure.

Date of Patent: January 26, 2021

  • Patent number: 6250652
Abstract: A stroller for a child is disclosed which includes a frame having two support surface engaging rear wheels rollably mounted on opposite sides of a rear end portion thereof and a single, support surface engaging swivel caster suspended from a front end portion of the frame on a longitudinal centerline thereof. A pair of spaced apart front wheels is rollably mounted on opposite sides of a front end portion of the frame in transverse and laterally spaced apart alignment with the caster. The front wheels are mounted on the frame so that the lower surfaces thereof are spaced slightly above the lower surface of the caster, whereby the front wheels normally do not touch the supporting surface when the load on the stroller is balanced along the centerline thereof and when the stroller is either stationary or moving in a straight line.

  • Patent number: 5108321
Abstract: A motor boat with auxiliary and main motors and having a transom with a pocket or recess constructed and arranged to receive and support an auxiliary outboard motor. The auxiliary motor is connected to a steering control in a helm control center which steers both the auxiliary and main motors. Preferably operating controls enable starting, tilting and steering of both motors and associated propulsion assemblies from the helm. Preferably, the operating controls include a cable carried in a sheathing attached to a steering wheel mounted in the helm control center and adapted to turn or move the rudder of the main motor and the auxiliary motor propulsion assembly to thereby steer the boat.
