  • Patent number: 11957538
Abstract: A temporary alignment system, methods, and accessories for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using a separable fastener using the same threads in the implant abutment used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an implant abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the implant abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods and accessories for using the separable fastener assembly or portions of it during conversion of an existing prosthesis for screw attachment or fabrication and fitting of a new prosthesis are described.

  • Publication number: 20240090982
Abstract: A multi-unit abutment aligning a dental implant and a screw-attached prosthesis with copings is disclosed. The multi-unit abutment has a threaded base post for attachment to the implant and a ball portion. A swivel post into the implant with the multi-unit assembly in a linear configuration. The swivel shell is then positioned and fixed at a desired tilt and azimuthal angle. The swivel shell has a mating surface for a coping. The lock screw remains accessible through an aperture in the coping when the prosthesis is positioned on the implant abutments. Different embodiments are disclosed for capturing the swivel shell on the ball. Methods for improving passive alignment of the prosthesis to the implants are described.

  • Patent number: 11915598
Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for fleet management of unmanned aerial vehicles, including flight authorization. One of the methods includes maintaining one or more rules associated with authorizing UAVs to implement flight plans. A request to generate a flight plan associated with a job is received, the request including information indicating a flight pattern comprising, at least, one or more waypoints associated with geospatial references. The flight plan is generated based on the request, and an initial authorization check is determined based on the maintained rules and the generated flight plan. Upon a positive determination, access to the generated flight plan is provided by a ground control system, and the flight plan is implemented.

  • Publication number: 20220323625
Abstract: Room and/or area disinfection apparatuses are provided which generate pulses of germicidal light at a frequency greater than 3 Hz and project the pulses of light exterior to the disinfection apparatuses. In some cases, the apparatus includes processor executable program instructions for receiving data regarding characteristics of a space in which the disinfection apparatus is to be operated. In addition or alternatively, the apparatus may include a remote user interface to affect operation of the disinfection apparatus. In other cases, the apparatus may additionally or alternatively include a means for automatically moving the disinfection apparatus. In yet other additional or alternative cases, the disinfection apparatus may be void of an opaque component 360° around an elongated portion of the germicidal pulsed light source such that light emitted from the germicidal pulsed light source encircles the disinfection apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10245340
Abstract: Disinfection methods and apparatuses are provided which generate pulses of germicidal light at a frequency greater than 20 Hz and project the pulses of light to surfaces at least 1.0 meter from the disinfection apparatus. The pulses of light comprise a pulse duration and an energy flux sufficient to generate a power flux between approximately 200 W/m2 and approximately 5000 W/m2 of ultraviolet light in the wavelength range between 200 nm and 320 nm at the surfaces. Other disinfection methods and apparatuses are provided which generate pulses of light comprising germicidal light and visible light from a germicidal light source and generate pulses of light from a visible light source that is distinct from the germicidal light source. The projections of visible light from the light sources produce a continuous stream of visible light or a collective stream of visible light pulsed at a frequency greater than 60 Hz.

  • Publication number: 20170279820
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention is a system that stores a characteristic “modus operandi” for each type of computer attack that has historically been encountered or that could potentially be encountered on a computer network. In this embodiment, the system uses criteria derived from a modus operandi to query an event data store, identifying entities (host computers, user credentials, or malicious software objects) on the network that meet those criteria. The system also queries a flow data store to identify network connections among the identified entities that meet the criteria for the modus operandi. The identified entities and network connections are then analyzed to determine whether an attack matching the modus operandi is underway. If so, the system transmits a notification to permit the attack to be thwarted before it is completed (i.e., before exfiltration of sensitive stolen data occurs).
