    Abstract: Apparatus which enables grounding, connection and disconnection of high voltage electrical connectors from a safely remote location includes a grounding device for making a ground connection to the conductor of a high voltage cable through the contact of the connector itself and a coupling device for selectively coupling the grounding device to an insulated tool, such as a hot-stick, for installation and removal of the grounding device and the grounded electrical connector with the insulated tool.
