  • Publication number: 20040117337
Abstract: A system and computer-based method are provided for performing export compliance review of electronic documents. An electronic document is submitted for export compliance review to a server over a network. The server automatically reviews the submitted document according to predefined export compliance rules and automatically generates export compliance information based on the review. Final export compliance information for the submitted document is generated based on an export compliance officer's review of the automatically generated export compliance information with respect to the export compliance rules. The final export compliance information is stored with the submitted document.

  • Patent number: 4746809
Abstract: A system for controlling the operation of a load circuit coupled to an AC power distribution circuit includes an encoder which may be mounted in a wall switch box and coupled to a single conductor of the AC power distribution circuit for imposing thereon control signals by lengthening the zero crossings of the AC voltage. A decoder, also connected to the AC power distribution circuit at a remote location, detects the lengthened zero crossings and closes an electronic switch for energizing the load circuit. The encoder may be disconnected from the AC power distribution circuit, in which case the load circuit may be controlled by an external condition responsive device, such as a passive IR sensor. Visible light-responsive means may be provided for disabling the IR sensor during the day. The load circuit and the decoder can be turned off from the encoder location.

  • Patent number: 4293008
Abstract: A water/syrup ratio graduate for use with a post-mix beverage dispensing system is described. The graduate includes two fluid receiving chambers, one of which receives water (carbonated or still) from a post-mix dispenser nozzle and the other of which receives syrup from the nozzle. One of the chambers has maximum and minimum fluid level marks thereon and when the liquid level in that chamber is between the marks the water/syrup ratio can be read directly off a scale on the other chamber.

  • Patent number: 4044268
Abstract: Circuitry is provided for automatically selectively switching a load from a primary power source to a secondary power source, and back again, including switch means connected between the primary and secondary power sources, and control circuit means which controls opening and closing of the switch according to the sensed voltage level of the primary source. Once the secondary power source has been switched on, at such time as its voltage level drops below a predetermined level the switch can be adapted to automatically disconnect the secondary power source (e.g., battery) from the load.

  • Patent number: 3964934
Abstract: A through-the-partition connector particularly for lead-acid cells or batteries is disclosed in which a stud insert of relatively low electrical resistivity is embedded within a deformable lead shroud post which is tightly seated within the partition. In one aspect, the lead shroud and the partition seat are configured with inclined ramp portions, e.g., frustroconical in shape, and an interference fit is formed therebetween for an improved seal. In another aspect, the stud has a lower leg or other extension projecting therefrom, and which is fully encased by the lead shroud, particularly for increasing the current carrying capability of the connector.
