    Abstract: Combustion is enhanced by positioning plural magnetrons around a burner, and directing microwaves into a combustion zone as air and fuel or air fuel and oxygen are swirled into the combustion zone. The microwaves excite carbon atoms in the fluidized fuel mixture and improve complete oxidizing of the fuel with increased flame temperatures and reduced noxious emissions.
