The heterocyclic compounds increase speed without a concomitant increase in size of the light-sensitive silver halide grains.

    Abstract: There is described a method of calibrating an analyzer in the field, using parameters designed for a "standard" analyzer that may be different from the field analyzer. In this way, it is not necessary to use only certain slide elements of a given chemistry on one analyzer, and certain other slide elements of that same chemistry on another analyzer.
