The compositions containing at least 10 weight percent of either 3,7-dimethyl-2,6-nonadienenitrile or 3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienenitrile. Additional ingredients may be added including napthyl methyl ether, methyl beta-naphthyl ketone, benzyl acetone, methanoinden propionates, methyl ionone, tetramethylnaphtho furan, ethylene glycol cyclic ester of dodecanedioic acid, 1-cyclohexadecen-6-one, 1-cycliheptadecen- 10-one, and corn mint oil. These compositions are applied to either fabric or a defined surface area of the human epidermis.
