  • Publication number: 20260091153
Abstract: A system and method for conducting germicidal treatment of a room with computer-aided analysis for optimal placement of equipment within the room is presented herein. The system and method include preparing the room for germicidal treatment by placing at least one germicidal treatment device, at least one sensor and at least one camera within the room; capturing, via the at least one camera, at least one image of the room showing locations of the at least one germicidal treatment device and the at least one sensor within the room relative to other room objects; and analyzing, via at least one processor, the at least one image and the locations of the at least one germicidal treatment device and the at least one sensor within the room relative to the other room objects to validate the locations for efficient germicidal treatment.

  • Patent number: 12491282
Abstract: A system and method for performing UVC treatment of a room is presented herein. The system and method includes the use of at least one sensor, at least one UVC light source, a mobile device and a remote management system or cloud server. The sensor(s) and UVC light source(s) are disposed in a selected location within the room. The mobile device, in communication with the cloud server, is used to scan one or more of: a QR code associated with the room or location, a QR code associated with the UVC sources, and/or a QR code associated with the sensor(s). The mobile device then communicates with the cloud server to indicate where the sensor is disposed, and based thereupon, a treatment parameter, such as dosage values, treatment times, etc. is defined. If it is determined that the treatment parameter is not satisfied, then an action is initiated immediately or subsequently.

  • Publication number: 20230054238
Abstract: A germicidal duct assembly that includes an inlet assembly, an irradiation chamber, and an outlet assembly is presented herein. The inlet assembly includes an inlet duct connected at one end to the irradiation chamber and at the other end to a vent. A fan is used to draw air into the inlet assembly and to the irradiation chamber. The outlet assembly includes an outlet duct connected at one end to the irradiation chamber and at the other end to a vent. A fan is used to facilitate the flow of air from the irradiation chamber through the outlet duct. The irradiation chamber includes at least one elongated ultraviolet light source disposed in an oblique manner relative to a longitudinal axis of said irradiation chamber in order to increase the exposure time of the air as it travels through the inlet ducts to irradiation chamber and out of the outlet ducts.

  • Publication number: 20230054225
Abstract: A system and method for detecting and measuring germicidal treatment of a treatment chamber is presented herein. In particular, the system and method include disposing at least one sensor in a selected location within the treatment chamber, wherein the sensor is communicative with a controller and the controller is communicative with a remote management system. A location identifier is communicated from the controller to the remote management system indicative of the selected location within the treatment chamber where the sensor is disposed. Based at least in part upon the location identifier at least one treatment parameter is defined for the corresponding sensor. If, during germicidal treatment of the treatment chamber, the controller determines that the treatment parameter is not satisfied based upon at least one measurement obtained by the at least one sensor, then a predetermined action is initiated.

  • Patent number: 11236858
Abstract: A mounting bracket for attachment to a strut channel is presented herein. The mounting bracket includes an attachment structure and one or more mounting structures. The attachment structure includes at least two clips facing in laterally opposite directions and sized to fit within an opening of a strut channel. The clips can be moved or flexed upon application of appropriate squeezing or inward forces exerted upon the mounting bracket. When the mounting bracket is attached to the strut channel, at least one of the mounting structures is positioned at least partially within the strut channel interior.

  • Publication number: 20150241040
Abstract: Bracket assemblies and methods of securing a new fixture to an existing base are presented. A bracket assembly, in one embodiment, includes an elongate plate having a base area and one or more struts formed by bending, a fastener to attach the base area to the new fixture, and a clamp to secure the struts to the existing base. Each strut may include one or more transverse apertures positioned at one or more intermediate locations along its length, wherein the apertures are sized and shaped to facilitate breaking and thereby selectively adjust the length of each strut. Selectively adjusting the length of the bracket assembly facilitates the placement of the new fixture at the desired position inside an existing housing.
