    Abstract: Welding apparatus embodies an electrode support and guide structure provided by a framework hingedly connected at opposite ends and supported generally midway of the ends by a swivel joint assembly rotatively mounted for swingable movement by one end of a hinged support arm connected at its opposite end to generally vertically disposed mounting structure. A plurality of pivotal connections are provided which permit an operator to move the electrode vertically, horizontally, and generally arcuately with respect to a workpiece being welded.
