    Abstract: A combination clamp and plug type electrical connector comprising a longitudinally extended pair of electrically conductive jaws mounted for relative pivotal movement and protruding from a dielectric sleeve having slidably supported therein resilient means for adjustably exerting an inwardly directed pressure on the jaws to maintain a clamping electrical contact with an interposed conductor, or for adjustably exerting an outwardly directed pressure on the jaws to maintain electrical contact with conductive wall portions of an electrical receptacle.
