    Abstract: The specification discloses stacking of bars and the like. A plurality of stacking cradles are positioned adjacent to a table from which bars are moved transversely to the stacking cradles. Deflector members are selectively movable between a position in which they bridge over the stacking cradle and a position leaving the stacking cradles open. Members are provided for shifting the product in the stacking cradles for alignment of the ends of the product.
