  • Patent number: 4388783
Abstract: The specification discloses a prefabricated partition arrangement for fitting rooms and the like, comprising a pair of parallel, laterally spaced side panels having rearward edges thereof fastened to an interior wall of a building by a first pair of channels. A front panel with a door therein extends between the forward edges of the side panels and is connected therewith by a second pair of channels, thereby forming a sturdy, postless partition assembly.

  • Patent number: 4322053
Abstract: The specification discloses a fitting room mirror assembly in which the mirror is mounted at an angle in a corner of a fitting room using upper and lower nonapertured mounting brackets at the mirror's top and bottom respectively. Each mounting bracket comprises a nonapertured triangular plate, two edges of which fit snugly against the two walls of the corner while the third edge receives the mirror so that access to the space behind the mirror is prohibited.

  • Patent number: 4012880
Abstract: The specification discloses a partition system for subdividing large rooms or work areas wherein shelving support apparatus may be selectively incorporated between or at the ends or sides of the individual panels without physical modification or alteration of the panels. The panel connection apparatus includes spaced apertures which are used alternately with securing fasteners depending on the inclusion or removal of the slotted or other shelf supports. The outward appearance of the panels themselves remains unchanged regardless of whether or not the shelf supports are included. If desired, the system may include a panel wedging system for firm, secure support such as that disclosed in commonly assigned U.S. Pat. No. 3,884,002.

  • Patent number: 3974610
Abstract: A panel unit and panel assembly wherein a panel, of the type useful for partitioning a room into smaller areas, is joined to another along abutting surfaces which are substantially exactly aligned with one another. Each panel includes an aperture in its abutting surface for receiving a connecting pin. Each aperture is offset toward one of the panel side surfaces of its panel a distance equal to one-half the difference in width or diameter between the pin and receiving apertures. When the connecting pin is secured in the apertures, the abutting panel surfaces are aligned regardless of whether the said one panel surfaces toward which the apertures are respectively offset are on the same or opposite sides of the final panel assembly.
