  • Patent number: 5172510
Abstract: Semi-artificial lure for fishing visually simulates a live fish by embedding within a clear lure body the head end of a natural marine food, such as a small fish, and attaching thereto an artificial tail made of flaccid plastic streamers which extend from the rear of the lure. Leader line extends from the front of the lure, through the mouth and partial belly of the embedded fish, and out through the rear end of the lure body. Hollow chamber, hidden from sight in belly of embedded fish, accommodates vibration-, scent-, ballast-, and light-producing accessories which attract live fish, without compromising the visual resemblance of the lure to a live bait fish.
