  • Patent number: 9243910
Abstract: A present novel and non-trivial system, device, and method for generating a route image presentable on a display unit is disclosed, where a route may be presented to draw a viewer's attention to one or more objects located along or below the route. An image generator (“IG”) may be configured to receive navigation data; receive object data; construct one or more raised ground track profiles as a function of the first elevations and one or more object clearance distances; identify, if any, one or more penetrated segments of one or more raised ground track profiles; and generate an image data set representative of an image of a divisible route configured to present a plurality of route section highlighters comprised of one or more first route section highlighters corresponding to non-penetrated segment(s) and at least one second or subsequent route section highlighters corresponding to first or subsequent penetrated segment(s), respectively.

  • Patent number: 8301867
Abstract: A multi-core processor system including a main processor, an internal EPON bus, and a plurality of secondary core processors. The main processor includes a processing unit; an offload engine operatively connected to the processing unit for routing data to and from the processing unit; a plurality of main processor optical network units (ONU's) operatively connected to the offload engine; and, a dual optical line terminal (OLT) operatively connected to the offload engine. The internal EPON bus is operatively connected to the OLT. The plurality of secondary core processors are located physically separate from the main processor, each secondary core processor having a respective secondary core processor ONU being operatively connected to the main processor via the internal EPON bus.

  • Patent number: 5533752
Abstract: An apparatus (10) for restraining movement of an occupant of a vehicle includes an inflatable air bag (16). When the air bag (16) is inflated to a predetermined pressure, a vent valve assembly (26) opens and vents fluid from the air bag. The vent valve assembly (26) connects the air bag (16) with a support structure. In one embodiment, the vent valve assembly connects the air bag with a door (14) of a vehicle. The vent valve assembly includes a base (46) which extends through an opening (34) in the air bag (16) and through an opening (36) in an inner panel (32) of the vehicle door (14). The base (46) clamps the air bag against the inner panel (32) of the vehicle door (14). The vent valve assembly (26) includes a metal valve element (50) which is plastically deformed by fluid pressure in the air bag (16) to enable fluid to flow from the air bag.
