  • Patent number: 9861775
Abstract: An emergency resuscitation apparatus with external air volume control includes a housing having top and bottom plates pivotally coupled so as to siphon air into an internal reservoir via an inflow port and propel air out through an outlet port to a patient. A volume control plate is coupled to the bottom plate externally adjacent a second end wall, the volume control plate having a plurality of volume selectors. An air volume limit arm is operatively coupled to the volume control plate and selectively movable between and coupled to a selected volume selector. A volume limiting flange associated with the volume limit arm are positioned in a common vertical plane with top plate such that the volume limit flange prevents upward movement of the top plate beyond the setting of the volume limit arm so as to regulate a quantity of air being expelled.

  • Publication number: 20070203724
Abstract: Methods of allowing a customer to access information related to an order of a commodity include entering the information into a central database, updating a content of a web-based application with the information within the central database, and allowing the customer to access the information via the web-based application. The information may include sales information, shipping information, tracing information, packout information, inventory information, and/or inspection information corresponding to the order of the commodity. Systems for allowing a customer to access information related to an order of a commodity include a server configured to store the information in a central database, one or more terminals having one or more applications configured to enter the information into the central database, and a web-based application configured to allow the customer to access the information within the central database.

  • Patent number: 5212801
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling digital driver signals to accommodate a host system comprising a driver control circuit for generating a plurality of first stage gating signals in response to a data signal; a driver circuit generating a driver signal output in response to the plurality of first stage gating signals; and impedance control circuitry for controlling output impedance response of the driver circuit. The impedance control circuitry comprises a high signal impedance circuit for effecting such adjusting for low-to-high transitions of the driver signal, and a low signal impedance control circuit for effecting such adjusting for high-to-low transitions of the driver signal. The high signal impedance control circuit gates a first digital switching device operatively connected between the driver circuit output and a voltage source, and the low signal impedance control circuit gates a second digital switching device operatively connected between the driver circuit output and ground.

  • Patent number: 5025182
Abstract: An apparatus for generating first and second digital gating signals in response to a data signal. The first gating signal and the second gating signal are selectively isolatable from each other according to a state signal. The apparatus comprises a gate signal circuit for receiving the data signal and generating the first gating signal on a first line and the second gating signal on a second line. A state input circuit receives the state signal and distributes a plurality of control signals representative of the state signal to the apparatus. An override circuit imposes values on the first and second lines in response to the control signals. The override circuit electrically isolates the first line from the second line in response to the control signals. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus also includes a DRIVE-HIGH circuit for controlling the override circuit.

  • Patent number: 5025181
Abstract: An apparatus for generating digital gating signals respectively on an N-channel and a P-channel drive line in response to a digital data signal comprising a first and a second digital switching device, a resistive device, and first and second threshold devices for generating digital signals when receiving an input signal which exceeds a preestablished threshold value. The first and second digital switching devices commonly receive the data signal at their respective gates. The first digital switching device is operatively connected between a voltage source and the resistive device and generates a first gating signal from a juncture intermediate the first digital switching device and the resistive device. The second digital switching device is operatively connected between the resistive device and ground and generates a second gating signal from a juncture intermediate the resistive device and the second digital switching device.

  • Patent number: 4118790
Abstract: Data processing equipment suitable for recording details of manually connected telephone calls has a plurality of operator stations with keyboards and VDU's connected in groups to operator's control units which respond to keyed instructions to obtain data from peripheral units storing such data and for recording on magnetic tape cartridge the details of the calls. The magnetic tape cartridge recording units are duplicated and the data to be recorded in the two units, which are separately generated and should be the same, are compared with one another and their validity checked. If both data are valid, whether they differ or not, they are recorded. If only one set of data is valid only the valid data are recorded by both recorders. A marker signal may be recorded to indicate that the data recorded may be incorrect.
